Engaged

I woke up feeling woozy and watching as the room slightly spun.

"You okay Maka?" I heard Kid's voice echo sending pain through my skull.

"Just dizzy," I said clenching my head, "where's Soul?"

"He went to get dinner, he'll be right back." Kid said sitting on the bed next to me.

"What's he getting?" I asked.

"Tacos for me and him and soup for you." Kid responded, he seemed distant.

"What time is it?" I let go of my forehead and saw the room stand still.

"Eight o'clock exactly." He looked down at me with eyes that were somewhat bloodshot.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Kira's not just a weapon, she's a witch too." he said.

"How do you know?" i asked sitting up slowly.

"She confessed that the entire time she had been enchanting him since you guys got back. That's how he came to her so willingly." I stared at him blankly.

"Eventually she dropped the spell once he got to the apartment." He said standing up, I didn't say a word just continued to stare at him.

"There's something else wrong about this though," he began.

"Her partner, Riko, is missing." I finished. The door opened slowly revealing Soul with a bag and cup of food.

"She's awake." Kid said.

"I could have said 'hello' you know." I said sarcastically as I watched Soul put the food down then sat on the bed next to me.

"How are you feeling?" He asked kissing my head.

"Eh I'm fine." I held his hand tightly.

"I see he told you about what Kira did." He said, I nodded slowly.

"You know I will always love you, no matter what spell I'm under." He smiled kissing my cheek.

"I love you too." I whispered.

"I'm going to leave you two alone." Kid said.

"No we want you in here, actually we want all of you guys in here. Can you get Tsubaki, Black Star, Liz and Patty to come here?" Soul asked.

"Yeah of course." Kid dialed numbers and we all ate in silence as we waited for them to get here. Soon enough they did.

"Kid is everything okay? You call seemed kind of urgent." Liz said yawning. Kid pointed at Soul and I.

"It's all they're idea." He said. They all looked really confused. I looked at soul and he smiled, I returned the smile and took his hand.

"We're getting married." I announced. The room went silent then all of a sudden exploded with tears and clapping and hugging.
