He'll be fine on his own, right?" Ha Eun asked.
Cale thought for a moment. "He knows what he's doing. If he wants help, he will ask."
The group decided to spar again, many of them having to readjust their strength output as a result of upping their stats. U-Jin and Min Joon had previously faced issues with that outside of fighting, especially since they were still learning how to interact with the world, and they were practicing throwing rocks to combat the issue.
Not too far into that, a strange message appeared.
[The ◼◼ ◼◼ ◼◼ is preparing to ◼◼]
It made Cale nervous, but he didn't know what to do about it, so he reluctantly ignored it for the time being.
[◼◼ ◼◼ ◼◼ ◼◼ ◼◼]
Anxiety coiled in his gut. Nobody was saying anything, though he could see notifications pop up in front of them as well.

The empty notifications he received clearly had something on them for the others, given their level of shock and quick glances over toward him.
That's it. He was checking the center of Seoul; this must be related somehow. Dokja hadn't messaged him, but considering the circumstances, Cale felt that it didn't matter.
He told the others what he was doing, then left quickly.
Sound of the Wind didn't take him fast enough to cross a large portion of Seoul in less than ten minutes. As it was, the air was whipping at him painfully.
Going faster than highway speeds, his eyes were hurting quite a bit from being constantly bombarded by wind, but he ignored it – Vitality of the Heart would heal them.
He finally reached where the center should be, but when he only saw Dokja and his crew, no egg in sight, dread creeped up his spine. Though everyone looked okay, and though he was never called in the first place, he couldn't shake the feeling that he was somehow too late.
Landing off to the side, he looked at Dokja warily. The man looked to be scheming up something big.
"What happened?" Cale asked.
Dokja whirled around and glared at him. "What happened? Are you serious? I messaged you to come but it said it was never received! Since you were alive, it shouldn't have been a problem with the main scenario notification, but that's too much to ask, huh? I thought you might have died! Then we fought the disaster that turned out to be good, and a dokkabei killed her!" Dokja paused, sighed, then ran a hand down his face. "I'm sorry. You couldn't have known we needed help."
"That was a main scenario notification?"
"...What is that supposed to mean?"
Cale pinched the bridge of his nose and closed his eyes. "I got a few notifications, the first two mostly or all squares instead of text, and the last two were completely blank. I tried to get over here quickly in case something was wrong. But I was too late."
[The Ruler of the Domain of Misconduct thinks this is much more interesting.]
"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" Cale hissed.
[The Ruler of the Domain of Misconduct wonders why else you thought nothing was going through to you.]
