Jody's POV
First day of work with my cast. It wasn't such a problem as I first thought. I thought, that I couldn't really play piano and show the customers how it sounded and worked, but it wasn't that bad. I just had to figure out a way and then everything went great.
Jason, who is working with me and is the expert about drums, was currently drawing some stuff on my cast, so it won't look that boring anymore. He's actually a good friend and understands my shyness and everything. He's also an awesome drawer, so that's why I allowed him to spend his lunch-time drawing on my cast. We were having lunch together at the diner Cassie was working at. I actually spend most of my time there, mostly eating. Jason didn't let me look at my cast, until it was finished. I had to wait until Cassie was sitting to us, when she brought our food.
"Okay, it's finished" Jason said and backed away from my cast. There was a bright red flower drawn on it and under it was 'Pierce The Veil' written.
"It's really awesome! But why did you write 'Pierce The Veil' under it?" I asked. I knew that it was Vic's band but I couldn't remember telling Jason about it.
"Because that's Vic's band!" he explained like it was totally obvious.
"Sorry, I couldn't shut my mouth and told him about it" Cassie explained guilty. I rolled my eyes but wasn't mad at her. I would've told him about it anyway soon.
"Soooo, when are you gonna see him again?" Jason asked impatient.
"Tonight. Actually I'm gonna meet his band then" I told and Cassie and Jason 'oh'ed.
"That's good! So you gonna see a lot of hot guys today!" Jason said and wiggled his eyebrows.
"Jason..!" I said and rolled my eyes.
"Darling, he's right" Cassie agreed with Jason and they high-fived.
"Oh man" I said and rolled my eyes. I was rolling my eyes a lot this lunch time.
After this nice talk with my friends, Jason and me had to go back to work. Some people were already kinda waiting for someone who helped them pick an instrument and we helped them. Some of them asked me what happened to my wrist, because they come here a lot and kinda know me, and I just told them that I had an accident with my skateboard. Telling them the whole story would've been too complicated and long. But they seemed happy with this answer. I was small-talking a lot with my costumers, though I'm shy. But I have no idea why I'm not shy when I'm at work, because everywhere else I barely talk.
"Hey Jody, can you help me quickly? They need some information about microphones" Jason called me. I nodded and walked over to him to help.
I really tried to focus on my work but this special guy always kept coming back into my mind. I couldn't wait to meet him this night and was kinda nervous about it. What if his band mates don't like me? What if they think that I'm just someone who wants to become famous through Vic? I really hope not that they're thinking that, because it's totally not so. I haven't heard of Vic's band before. But now since I know them, I quite enjoy them. Their sound is really unique and their lyrics are awesome. Vic is really an awesome writer and he tells a story with every each of his songs. I think that's one of the reasons why their fans love them so much. I really think that those lyrics could save lives, if they haven't already.
At 6pm I arrived at my house, run upstairs into the bathroom and straight under the shower. I just had one hour now to make me look good. And that wasn't so much. It was enough, though. After the shower I walked into my bedroom and searched for something to wear. Skinny jeans and bandshirt? Hm, no. At the end I wore the skinny jeans but found a loosely tanktop which was grey. I walked back in the bathroom and applied some eyeliner and mascara. Then I brushed and dried my hair and let it open. I swept my fringe to the side and checked myself in the mirror for the last time before I went downstairs. I actually had no idea where Vic was gonna take me and his bandmates, he didn't tell me. No wonder I had such problems at picking out clothes! I took my bag and put everything I needed in it. Just after that, I heard a light knock on my door. I opened it and saw Vic, Mike, Jaime and I guess the last one was Tony.
