Vic's POV

It's actually not just one surprise, it's two surprises. It wasn't planned like this but it turned out like it. The first song I've written for Jody is called 'Hold On Till May' and is all the way about her and sometimes us. That was the one I've properly wrote for her, but the more the other songs formed and got together, I realized that another song was for her, too. Like I said, it wasn't planned like that but it happened and I'm not gonna change it. I don't want to change that.

"Vic, what did I tell you about daydreams?" Jody asked and put her hands on her hips. This was the fourth time I passed out in thoughts while packing my stuff for tour.

"I'm sorry..." I apologized and Jody nodded. She left the room and walked downstairs.

"...Mom" I added and smiled to myself.

"I've heard that!" Jody yelled from half-way downstairs. I cursed to myself and then continued packing. Jody was helping me, well she was doing all the laundry which was spread around in my whole house before. I needed those clothes so someone needed to wash them.

I put my last shirts in the suitcase and searched for some more. But there weren't any left anymore, so I walked downstairs and walked in the room where my washing machine was. And this was in the basement. Jody was just folding some shirts from the dryer. She looked at me in the corner of her eyes and then smiled.

"You're here to help me or to distract me with your beautiful face?" she asked jokely and I laughed softly.

"Honeslty, both" I played along and she laughed. She threw one of my fresh washed shirts at me, to tell me that I should help her. I caught the shirt and folded it. The laundry basket was already almost full with my shirts, and when we folded the last ones, she took the basket and we went upstairs in my room.

"Okay, so which ones of those clothes do you need?" she asked me and put the basket down on the bed.

"Uh...all of them...I think..." I honestly had no idea what I needed more or from what I had enough. So I just pretended that I do know. Jody rolled her eyes and put her hands on her hips.

"You have no idea what else you need, don't you?" she asked with a raised eyebrow. I first looked on the floor and then smirked at her. She rolled her eyes again and sat down on the floor.

"Okay, show me what you gave until now" she ordered and pointed at my suitcase. I walked over to it and started to unpack it, to show her everything I put inside until now. At some clothes she nodded and at others she shook her head. I put them on different places and after I showed her the clothes in the suitcase, I continued at the laundry basket. Here was the same thing like with the clothes in my suitcase. Nodding: yes, shaking head: no.

After maybe an hour we finished my packing and we both fell on my bed exhausted.

"Dammit, since when is packing so exhausting?" she wondered and run a hand through her hair.

"It was always exhaustig, especially in the morning" I said and looked over to her.

"When do you have to leave?" Her eyes were sad and worried. She told me many times about her worries and I have to say, there are many things she's worrying about. She's a person who always overthinks everything and ends up being scared and worried. That's something which isn't really easy to turn off, you have to work on it and I'm trying to help her with that.

"In an hour." She looked in a corner like she was thinking about something and then shrugged.

"That's enough time." She rolled over until she was on top of me and started kissing me roughly. We both laughed in the kiss and she went down my jawline to my neck.
