True Love Comes From More Than Just The Heart [Vic Fuentes]

We fell in love and now we're both alone

Jody's POV

"Did he call you yet?" Jason asked me and stood next to me.
"Who?" I asked not looking away from the spot I've been looking at since I fell into daydreams.
"Sam." I looked at him and nodded my head.
"We're meeting tonight at his house." Sam called me yesterday and now we're meeting tonight. He didn't say what the thing he wants to tell me is about, so I keep making up things.
"Are you excited?"
"I'm nervous! I am fucking nervous to meet my brother! What's wrong with me?! I shouldn't be that nervous because he's my brother!" I explained a bit too loud because some costumers were giving me dirty looks. I think work is not really the right place to talk about this, but well.
"You think that he's hiding something from you, so you're just nervous about that thing."
"I don't just think that he's hiding something, I know it! He never sounds like that on the phone. He never sounds like that in general."
"Hm, you'll see tonight." He patted my shoulder and left me standing alone at the counter. I looked down and sighned. I still had no idea what to think of this whole thing. And I really was nervous. I rubbed my face in my hands and sighned. Let's get this day behind me as fast as possible.

I finally walked out the doors of the music store and walked to my car. I drove as fast as possible to Vic's house so I could take a shower. I kinda moved in in his house, I spend my time only there an just wear the clothes he left here. I wasn't in my house since he left for tour. Okay maybe I was once there to get some clothes and CDs but nothing else. 
I opened the door with the key he gave me and stepped inside. The house was empty as usual and I straight walked upstairs and grabbed some clothes. I took a quich shower and put my/Vic's clothes on. Then I dryed my hair and put some make-up on. I didn't have much time left until I had to leave. I checked myself in the mirror for the last time before I walked down the stairs, grabbed everything I needed and headed outside to my car. Before I started driving, I quickly sent Vic a text telling that I was going to Sam now. While driving down the street, I felt my phone buzz in my pocket. I took it and carefully read the text, looking up to the street and back at the phone again.

Vic: Everything's gonna be okay. Call me when you're home then you can tell me everything when you need to :)

Jo: Okay, I hope you're right. Love you <3

Vic: I love you, too <3

I totally focused back on the street. When I realized that I was really near Sam's house, I felt the nervousness show their effect. With almost shaky hands I pulled in the driveway of Sam's house. I took a deep breath before I stepped out of the car and walked to the door. I knocked and waited for him to open it. Some steps were to hear from inside and then the door opened. When Sam and me saw each other, we smiled and hugged.
"Jody, I missed you so much" he mumbled in my ear and we pulled away.
"I missed you, too Sam" I said and smiled at him.
"Come in!" He stepped aside so I could enter his house. It was still the same and it seemed like he didn't move a thing from the last time I was here. I followed through the kitchen in the dining room. We sat down and looked at each other. No one really knew how to start so I started biting my nails.
"You're still doing it" he said and smiled.
"What?" I asked a bit confused.
"You still bite your nails." I blushed and took my fingers away from my mouth.
"How are you doing?" I changed to topic so I would hopefully stop the blushing. 
"I'm good. I maybe already told you that you missed a lot through this time we didn't talk." He looked on the table a bit nervous.
"Yes, you mentioned that. But can I please start? You missed some things, too but not much."
"Sure, go ahead!"
"Okay, so since like 2 months now I have a boyfriend."
"What? Wow! That's amazing! Why didn't you bring him along? I wanna meet him." He hugged me and I was glad that he accepted it and wasn't angry that I just now told him about it.
"That's the next point. He couldn't come along because he's currently in San Fransisco. He's on the Vans Warped Tour with his band." Sam's eyes went wide and his jaw almost dropped.
"Really? Wow, that's incredible. That's the band's name?"
"Pierce The Veil."
"Are you serious?! You're together with a member of Pierce The Veil?! Which one?!" Woah, he was getting really excited over the fact that my boyfriend is in Pierce The Veil.
"The singer, Vic Fuentes."
"Seriously?! Dammit Jody, how did you get him?" I laughed and told him the whole story, from beginning until now.
"Fucking hell, you're so happy when you tell about him" Sam mentioned and I smiled even more.
"I am happy with him. He's amazing" I said with a huge smile on my face and a light rose colour on my cheeks. That's how love is supposed to feel like.
"I'm so happy that you found someone. And I have to admitt that I found someone, too." I knew that he has something to hide!
"Woah, really? What's her name? How old is she? Where does she live? What's her job? How long are you together? Is she beautiful?" Sam was sightly overstained from my interesst and had a surprised expression on his face.
"Woah, enough questions. She's called Laurie Miller. She's one year younger than me, so 30. She lives here in San Diego, works as a shop assistant in a boutique, she is beautiful and we're together for 2 years now and we're engaged and she's pregnant." My jaw dropped, almost hitting the floor.
"Fucking hell." Woah. That's too much information for me.
"Yes. Well, it's not hell for me because I proposed her before she told me that she was pregnant and we love each other and-"
"You've been hiding this relationship from me two years now?!" He looked guilty. Good!
"Yes, I did."
"Why?" I backed up and threw my arms in the air. Why didn't he tell me about her?! Yeah, I didn't tell him about Vic, too from the first moment but those are 2 months. He hid it 2 fucking years!
"I don't know. I just didn't knew if it's gonna last because first it just seemed to be a friends with benefits thing but then it got serious and...I never had the chance to tell you about it. And now I thought it's maybe time for it since we're getting married and expecting a baby."
"Wow. I can't believe it."
"What?"
"Everything! I can't believe that you've been hiding this from me for so long and I can't believe that you're getting married and going to be a father."
"Yes, I know it's incredible."
"As much as I want to hate you right now, I just feel happiness because that's actually so beautiful that you found someone you wanna spend the rest of your life and having a family with." I had to stop me from crying in happiness because I was really happy for him. He finally found his right way. 
"You're the best little sister in the world. I thought that you'd be really pissed." He hugged me.
"I am pissed, but the happiness is winning. Lucky for you that I'm such an emotional fuck."
"I guess I am."
"I wanna meet her as soon as possible."
"You can actually meet her today. She's just out with some friends tonight but she could come home any moment."
"Awesome! So I'm staying until she comes home!" Sam laughed and seemed to be happy over my excitement.
"Okay! So what do you wanna do until then?"
"Movie!" I jumped up from the chair and ran into the living room. I let myself fall on the couch and waited until Sam joined me. He lifted my feet up, sat down and put them on his lap. He turned the TV on and switched through the channels until we found a good movie. We spend the evening watching the movie and talking about some other stuff, until the door opened. I curiously looked up and Sam stood up and walked to the door. This was Laurie then, I guess. A small woman with brown hair and a curvy figure walked in and smiled at Sam. Sam greeted her with a kiss. I stood up from the couch and slowly walked to them. When Laurie saw me, her face was confused.
"Laurie, this is my sister Jody. Jody this is my finacé Laurie" Sam introduced us. Laurie greeted me with a hug, which was a point to like her. I like hugs.
"Hi! It's so nice that we finally meet! Sam's been telling me so much about you" Laurie said and had a really sweet smile on her face. She seems really nice.
"Nice to meet you" I said and smiled ar her, too. Sam led us to the couch and we all sat down.
"So, when is the wedding actually planned to be?" I asked trying to start a conversation.
"On August 10th" Sam answered and smiled at Laurie.
"Oh, that's good! It's after Warped Tour" I cheered. Good they didn't plan it while Warped Tour.
"Why is that good?" Laurie asked confused.
"My boyfriend is in a band and they're touring on Warped Tour. And on 17th July their new album releases and then I'll be joining them on tour until the end" I explained and smiled at the thought of Vic.
"Wow, really? He's in a band? In which band and what is he doing?" Laurie asked interessted.
"He's the singer in the band called Pierce The Veil" I said and waited for her reaction. It seems like she knew them because her eyes went wide.
"What?! Really?!" she almost yelled. It's funny to see people's reaction when I tell them that my boyfriend is Vic Fuentes.
"Funny how people react to that" I said and laughed lightly.
"Oh my god, you need to come with him to our wedding!" 
"Laurie..." Sam said and I shook my head.
"No of course I'm coming with him" I said and Laurie almost freaked out. She seems to be a fan. I laughed and Laurie started to fangirl over Pierce The Veil. We kept talking about different things until it was already late. I told them that it was time for me to go home because I needed to go to work tomorrow.
"It was so nice to finally meet you" Laurie said while we were hugging.
"Yes it was. Good luck for the future" I wished when I hugged Sam. They both thanked me and I left their house. I drove home in my car in the darkness. When I say home, I actually mean Vic's house because that felt like my home now.
I unlocked the door, walked inside and then upstairs. I left myself fall on the bed and took my phone out from my pocket. When I looked at it I saw that I had a missed call and a text from Vic.
