Jody's POV

"Good morning Mrs. Fuentes" Vic wished and kissed my nose. I smiled and rubbed my eyes. The sun was already shining through the curtains and I asked myself how long we've slept.

"What time is it?" I asked sleepy and opened my eyes. He lay next to me and looked absolutely irresistable.

"Uhm it's 10:30" he answered after he checked his phone. I rolled to my side so I could properly look at him.

“Are we really married now?” I asked, still not believing it. Two days ago was our wedding and we’re now in our honeymoon in Sydney, Australia.

“As much as I know we are” he confirmed and smiled.

“What’s on our plan today?” I asked. We had made a whole list about the things we wanted to do here.

“I think we wanted to learn how to surf today” he thought out loudly.

“Oh right.” I got up, after Vic multiple times tried to pull me back in the bed, and got ready.

It turned out that neither Vic nor me had a talent for surfing. We had a surf teacher, that tired to show us all the tricks but it didn’t help. After maybe an hour of trying everything out, we gave up and just lay around at the beach. I decided that Australia is my favorite country and that I never ever wanted to leave this place again. Vic made plans of moving with the whole band here, so my wish could come true. We gave up our plans when we couldn’t even find the snack bar for some ice cream.

Unfortunately was our honeymoon just for one week, because Vic had to go back and go on tour. Vic asked me to come along on tour with him, but I can’t because of my work. I already took too many holidays so there’s nothing left anymore. Even though Vic told me to quit my job, because he makes enough money for both of us, I didn’t do it. I don’t want him to do all the work alone.

Of course I wished more than one week, but it just wasn’t possible. But I wasn’t mad or anything, I could live with it. Maybe it was even better, because we could enjoy our presence even more. We really had a lot of fun and I fell in love with the city like I fell in love with Vic. Both of them at once made me incredibly happy. I haven’t felt like this in a long time.

I am so happy and thankful to have Vic and have the chance to live this life. It’s the life I ever wanted deep down.

Oh! Before I forget it; For everyone of you who’s wondering what happened with Cassie and Tony; they kissed at our wedding and are now a couple. They finally had the balls to make it, thank god.

I didn’t invite my mother to my wedding but I invited my biolocial father. He brought his wife and kids, which made me happy. Those kids are my half-siblings so they’re part of me, too. I get along really good with them. Vic does, too.

But the thing that made me the happiest was, that I had a good father walking me down the aisle and bringing me to the love of my life.

Vic and me even talked about kids, but we both decided not yet. Maybe in some years you’ll hear of baby Fuentes.
