"We are searching for capable candidates for this mission. Therefore we have brought you all here to evaluate your opinions on the matter and how you believe you would react in this environment."
Aizawa was trying not to yawn. He was up all night so screw him, not to mention it was 4 in the afternoon. It was the absolute worst time for the HPSC to be spewing bullshit.
"We believe the 'League of Villians' should be dealt with from the inside. They weren't considered much of a threat until they kidnapped a UA student-" Shota internally cringed. "- and it was brought to light that they work with AFO."
All For One. Despite everyone learning of his alias, few knew his real name. Aizawa, being the luckiest person on earth, did know. He had known for years.
"Because of this we have put someone on the job, but they have requested assistance. So today we gathered the best of you to help settle this matter." The woman bowed as someone entered with a variety of drinks.
The heroes at the table were given the option of either water, juice, or soda. However, Shota received a glass of wine which was poured for him and the lady stood behind him, waiting to refil it.
The others glanced in confusion as Shota took a sip. Maybe being an Aizawa wasn't so bad after all. The wine may or may not be worth all the other bullshit in the damn contract.
One person requested a glass but they were instantly turned down. "Why?" She asked with a confused glance.
"None of your concern."
Aizawa placed his glass down, glaring at the one who had uttered the words. He stuttered an apology for being rude to the lady before leaving the room. Aizawa's gaze didn't leave him until then.
He sighed, bringing his fingers to massage the bridge of his nose. Never mind. He thought.
Footsteps walked through the hallway. Two people. They were side by side. Whispered words and distant conversations as they walked towards them.
'Shigaraki.' The name being brought into the conversation, the swishing of feathers, the clanks of heels across the tiled floor, and the sheer familiarity of the female voice.
Shota placed the glass down and slowly brought himself to his feet. All eyes were upon him once more.
"Eraserhead-san?" The lady holding the bottle called his name.
"Eraser? Everything alright?" Sonomi asked. They had mentioned they'd be at a meeting here today but he didn't expect it to be this one. They were of such high ranks he thought it'd be something of more importance.
He nodded as he faced the door that was behind his seat. He bowed, bending at his waist and his hair flowing majestically it hid his face more than it should, so he tucked som behind his ear. He stayed in the position for one minute, then two.
3, 2, 1...
The door opened and Hawks walked in. His wings weren't spread but they were moving in and out as if stretching. His iconic smile and eyeliner were in their places.
His eyes looked upon Shota and his smile faded to a curios look. The next second the president of the Hero Commission was standing before them as they all rushed into a similar position as he was in
The woman nodded, looking at Hawks who was briefly analyzing Eraser. His smile returned as they all fell back into their seats.
"For the top underground heroes, these lots are heavily unattentive." Hawk's smile never faded through the insult. "But who can blame them? They're in our facilities, they're safe."
