A/N: I lost the notebook that I wrote some of this in and I'm so frustrated rn. So I gotta try to remember or rewrite it but my brain is against both.
Shota wasn't surprised he woke up in a cold sweat. But he was frustrated. Upon remembering that there were now children in his household, he took in a deep breath and held it. Looking to the clock besides him, he realized he'd been out for an hour.
He forced himself up and rubbed at his eyes to remove the sleep from them. They ached and burned for whatever reason and he took his eye drops. He pushed off of the bed and walked over to his closet.
He pushed the doors open and thew things around until he found what he needed. A pair of stretch, dark blue jeans and a black zip up jacket. He would have worn a hoodie but he wasn't interested in Eri's questions on how he got the scars on his neck.
He walked out of the room (yes he cleaned up the mess) and knocked on Hitoshi's door. He heard a soft 'come in' and opened the door.
"Hey, y'all wanna go to the store with me? I have to pick up somethings for the dorms and here too. I'm also heading to UA after."
"Yes!" Eri exclaimed.
"Sure." Shinso said as he got up to get changed.
The two left the room to give him some privacy as Aizawa handed Eri a change of clothes to put on while he waited for them in the living room. Soon the two kids appeared with their outfits and they headed to the car.
On the way, he doesn't know what compelled him to, but he started playing music. American music. And the kids didn't understand a single word of it. But Eri just started crying.
Not screaming and thrashing or anything. Just weeping.
So Aizawa paused the music and looked at her in the rear view mirror. "What's wrong Eri?" He asked.
"The song is so sad." She whined.
"Ho- Wha- YOU DON'T EVEN SPEAK ENGLISH?!" He stuttered out in shock.
"No." She cried.
Aizawa sighed deeply. He handed Shinso his phone and said with an exhausted voice, "Play some kids song or something. I can't do this."
The kid was somewhere between confusion and laughter but he did as told and soon it was as if this had never even happened.
They arrived at the mall and it was a bit odd to have to make sure the kids get out of the car and are okay. He was always by himself so it felt unfamiliar. He didn't linger on it but entered the building.
"Mind if I explore a bit?" Shinso asked as they entered the mall.
"Sure," Aizawa said, "Just be back here in an hour."
"Can I go with Mr. Shinso! Please!" Eri begged.
Aizawa looked to Shinso who just shrugged in response. "Go ahead." He said as they all parted ways.
He can act clueless when he wants to. He knew that they were gonna get him the books. He probably wouldn't if it weren't for his enhanced hearing so he'll give that much to them.
Now obviously Shota wouldn't go to the mall for the sole purpose of groceries. He'd just go to a grocery store for that. But he had some extra errands to run.
First thing's first, he had to go to the pharmacy. Now you might be wondering. why on earth would he need to go there of all places on God's good earth? Well there is a simple answer to that.
