Couple days goes by. I'm having dinner with Hagrid, Minerva and Flitwick. As we are laughing our own little jokes, Sybill - our Divination teacher, approaches us and began to ask something work related from Minerva. To be quite honest, I've been avoiding her ever since she hold onto my arm and talked scary things. 'He will return. You will be betrayed and blood will be shed..!' Her creepy voice echoes in my head. But we have had couple light conversations after that interaction whenever we happen to run into each other in the corridors by accident. But I do feel bad for avoiding her so much on purpose. Guess I'm too afraid that if I'll hang out with her, she'll tell me more unpleasant visions.

While watching them talking, I notice Mad-eye further away, speaking to a student that is sitting one of the long tables. I keep watching him from my seat. The fact that he went and told Severus about what happened in Diagon Alley bothers me. Out of all of the people... Why he needed to go and tell him? He doesn't know about me and Severus, and our relationship. Right? Then, Moody began to leave the Great Hall. Feeling the need to talk to the D.A.D.A. teacher, I quickly wiped my lips to a napkin, got up from my seat and went after him. Hagrid notices this:"Hm? (Y/N)..? Where are you going?". Ignoring my friend and just keep on walking with fast steps to follow Professor Moody. Luckily, he didn't get far. "Alastor." I call after him as he's limping up the stairs that are next to the doors to the Great Hall. Grudgingly, he turns to take a glance over his shoulder to see me. I keep staring at his with stern eyes:"I need to talk to you.".

We ended up in his classroom. Moody limps to sit on his chair and let's out a heavy sigh when his weight settles in:"What is it this time?". Having arms crossed over my chest while staring at the man couple meters away:"Heard you went up and told the Potions Master what happened in Diagon Alley.". He shrugs:"Didn't think it was a secret. It was all over the news the next morning after all.". I nod couple of times grudgingly:"Well..- Yes. It's not a secret, but I'd appreciate it if we could keep things like these between us. Don't wanna worry innocent people with something like this.". "Innocent? Snape? Hah! That's a good one." he sneers. Huh? Then, Moody once again takes his flask from his pocket and drinks from it. Honestly...

Rubbing my temples to put my thoughts in order. And Harry wished to tell everything we know so far for this drunkard..? Moody puts the flask back to his pocket and continues after letting out muffled coughs:"He's the least innocent one here, (Y/N)...". Frowning at his odd statement at first, but end up shooking my head and sigh:"Sure, he can be quite scary and intimidating when it comes to children - and some of the adults... I know he can be harsh sometimes, but it's only because..-", "So you don't know, do ya now?" he smirks intrigued. "Know what?" I ask. Moody rests both of his hands on top of his cane and keeps on smirking:"Ooh, this is getting better and better.". My gaze hardens a bit:"You may consider stop beating around the bushes, and finally tell me what's so funny about this.".

Clearly he's enjoying my ignorance. It's written all over his face. Then, he looks away with heedless face expression:"A woman like you with such a pure heart might shatter so easily, so I better not..-", "Alastor." I demand. He then looks back to me, even his artificial eye is on focus right at me:"He's a..-", then his eye shifts to the doorway and stops in middle of the sentence. "What?" I frown confused why he stopped, but end up glancing over my shoulder to see what is he looking at. It's Severus. This man really is everywhere! The Potions Master stares at us while he stands at the doorway with his usual expressionless manner:"Professor (Y/L). A moment of your time?". Awkward smile raises up on my face:"Ah, um... Yes. I'll be right there..!". Then, I turn to Moody as in 'just hurry up and whisper it to me', but Snape orders:"Now.".

With half gritted teeth, I leave by Moody's side and speak with quiet voice:"I'll see you later then.". The Defence Against Dark Arts teacher won't say anything. He just keeps his eye on Severus. It almost made me feel like he acted as intimidated like that Wormtail-man back in Spinner's End... Are they all secretly scared of him more than normal? And if so, why? For me it's always been because he's misunderstood, not because there should be an actual reason to be afraid of him. Again, Severus waits for me to walk out of the classroom before he does. Like he's making sure I really am coming with him. "Good day, Professor." Severus said with the monotonic tone before closing the door behind, leaving Mad-eye alone in the room.
