The Sun has raised as we are flying across the cool air. My hold around Severus loosens a bit as I try to take a better look what's ahead of us. The sound of the war becomes more clear while approaching the castle - or what is left of it. We can see the flashes of different colored spells peeking out here and there thru the ruins. Seems that the people are now inside, still fighting for their dear lives. There are more bodies laying around the groundings like dark bundles - just like Bartemius back at the forest. My eyes keeps darting around, hoping none of them will look too familiar. Severus brings his face closer to mine:"Any suggestions where we should land?". For some reason, this brought the memory back when we were on Buckbeak's back after getting away from Remus's werewolf form. "I need to find Ruby first!" I inform him. Severus nods and holds onto me tighter as he raise the speed.

Soon enough, we land to the solid ground near to the Great Hall and the black smoke smoothly fades away around us. People's war cries and the sound of spells hitting against each other echoes just around the corner. I need to see she's alright! I'm about to run in, but Severus suddenly grabs me by the wrist. Quickly, my head snaps to look at him:"Huh?". Without a word, he make us interlock our fingers with fade smile that says:'together'. Got little bit surprised he did that, but it doesn't stop me from flashing reassuring smile back that also says:'together'. And with that, we enter the Great Hall, wands ready. Right away, we get attacked by the enemies, but they get tossed around quickly. If I have said it, I'll say it again; Severus is indeed very talented wizard when it comes to dueling. Perhaps, I always had this thought he only shines when it comes to knowledge and making potions. This man won't let anyone get close to us.

During the fight, I notice Remus, Tonks and Sirius further away. Seeing them still standing brings joy in my heart, and this hopeful smile appears on my face. "C'mon!" I yell and yank Severus's hand as a sign we need to get closer to them. Without any hesitation, he follows. Tonks is first to notice us coming towards them and exclaims over the noise:"Are you two alright?!". Her voice caught Remus's attention and he glances over his shoulder. With my free hand, I hold onto Tonks's hand and give it a squeeze:"Never better! How about all four of you?". "Four?" Remus gets confused while fighting. "Told you she is a mess. Can't even count correctly." Sirius teases without looking at us. Just when I'm about to say something, Bellatrix spots us further away and won't hesitate when she shoots a curse right at my way.

In seconds, Severus is quick to tuck me behind him, but before even he manages to block the curse that is about to hit him instead, someone else gets to do it first. Huh?! Familiar woman has stepped in front of us, eyes flaming from rage. My eyes widens when I realize who the woman is. "Not my niece, you bitch." Ruby growls with murderous tone. "Ruby!" I gasp. Severus keeps his wand pointed at Bellatrix while making sure I'm staying behind his back. Bellatrix laughs mockingly, thinking this is all just fun and games. Without wasting any more time, Ruby shoots a spell at her and Bellatrix manages to block it just before it hits her. She's little bit taken aback by the sudden, aggressive attack at first, but soon that same old grin creeps on her face again - which puts me on the edge. Aunt won't hold back as she keeps casting different kinds of spells at the Death Eater. Bellatrix's face eventually drops as she has to stay more focused and has no choice, but to take some steps back.

They both are really going at it as their goal is the same; to kill one another. Watching all of this from the side raises the anxiety in me. I need to help her! But soon that thought gets cut off when another two Death Eater tries to make their attack; the twins. Severus blocks their double curses while keeping tightly my hand in his. They have their wands back! It seems Severus had no choice, but to hand them back when he was distracting them back then. Both of them are standing each side of us. Without a word, we agreed I point the wand at Alecto, and Severus points his wand at Amycus. Alecto glares at me with such a pure loathing when she noticed the way we are holding hands. "You should have really thought this thru, Snape. Her cunt ain't worth it!" Amycus scoffs. What?!
