Last time: Elizabeth made her way to Feldcroft so that she could meet Sebastian's sister with them. Upon their arrival Sebastian and Solomon got into an argument as Anne had a fit from her curse. Once things had calmed down Elizabeth and Anne had a chance to talk, during which Anne told Elizabeth she had no hope for a cure and asked the Ravenclaw to try and temper her brother as he searched for a cure when Elizabeth refused to outright convince him to stop searching. Meeting back up with Sebastian the two decided to visit where Anne had been cursed to search for clues only to run into trouble. With Sebastian injured and bleeding Elizabeth gave into her darker instincts and stopped holding back against her enemies, brutally slaughtering them in the process.

As Elizabeth decimated the goblins before her; their blood coating her as she ripped and blasted them apart, she had never felt more alive. The well of magic deep within her core flared with such intensity that it was intoxicating. Why had she been holding herself back this entire time, showing her enemies a mercy that they did not show her? They were the ones who kept coming after her. The ones who continually threatened the lives of herself and those she cared about. So why should she show them any kindness or restraint?
The young Ravenclaw grinned victoriously at the last remaining goblin. They rose up into the air in time with her wand while she lifted her left hand as well. "You brought this upon yourself." Her voice was cold as she spoke to the point she barely recognized it herself. Elizabeth slowly began to close her left hand; watching as the goblin's armor began to dent and crumple as it collapsed into the creature contained within.
The goblin coughed up blood, spitting it all over Elizabeth's already bloodstained face and hair. There was a defiant rage in the creature's eyes; yet it was quickly turning to pure fear as their bones snapped and broke under the pressure of their armor's collapse. "Ranrok lied..." It managed through clenched and bloodied teeth. "You're no child. Mon... ster..." Came the last words the being would ever speak as their mouth opened and blood poured out as the goblin silver armor finished crushing their torso and eviscerating their organs.
The broken corpse fell to the ground with a sickening thud on the now quiet battlefield as Elizabeth lowered her wand. Breathing hard from exertion, the girl looked around at the carnage she had wrought with a triumphant grin as her blood still thrummed in her veins. Her left hand lifted to her face before she ran her fingers through her auburn hair.
Back home Elizabeth always kept her emotions and impulses in check. As a part of high society she had a responsibility to uphold their rigid ideals and structures. Sometimes it had felt as if she had locked herself willingly inside of a cage which held her back; that curtailed her most extreme and darkest instincts. Since coming to Hogwarts she had tried to keep herself in that cage; yet she had felt the many locks she had placed on the gate coming undone one by one over the past month. It was as if whatever was growing inside her wanted out, wanted to show her her own true nature.
She pulled her hand away from her hair and moved it in front of her as she stared at it. It was fascinating how quickly her hands had become stained by the blood of her enemies. How exhilarating the rush of finally letting go and allowing herself to cross the line she had set for herself had been. As she stood there grinning at her bloodstained hand a giggle escaped her throat. Once the first sound wrenched itself from her throat it multiplied and grew in intensity. That force deep inside of her soul flared in revelry as she tossed her head back and laughed like a woman possessed.
As she laughed however; that fire within her began to recede as the exhilaration of combat began to fade from her veins and the true weight of what she had done fell upon her. Not only had Elizabeth viciously and relentlessly taken the lives of her opponents without a second thought; she had enjoyed it. She had reveled in their fear and suffering as they screamed and cursed her name. What had she done? How could she have so carelessly taken their lives with a smile on her face?
