Last Time: The memorial for the fallen was held only a couple of hours after the battle had ended, yet part way through it became too much for Elizabeth and she found herself having to leave. Together her and Poppy travelled to the room of requirement only for Elizabeth to decide she needed to go and heal Anne. After Elizabeth revealed what had happened in the catacombs, Poppy finally agreed to let her go on the condition they went together. After arriving in Feldcroft Lizzy felt and odd pull yet ignored it to go to Anne. Anne and Elizabeth talked for a bit with Anne yelling at Elizabeth before finally agreeing to allow Elizabeth to use the spell. When she did so the witch was forced to consume the energies since she had run out of jars to contain it. Upon doing so both girls' eyes flashed violet though only Elizabeth's remained as such. The auburn witch also learned consuming the energies told her what spell had been used to cause the pains he was seemingly consuming. After a short talk in which Anne was oddly chipper, even given the relief of her pain, Elizabeth left with Poppy and they returned to school where Elizabeth's mind finally broke. At Percival's old castle the Greys performed a ritual after energies that had escaped the repository came to them. With the ritual completed using Elizabeth's blood and emotional energy as well as Isidora's ashes; the ancient witch was resurrected once more. She soon left to retrieve something from her old home and saw Elizabeth leaving Feldcroft in the process.

Poppy
Poppy slowly began to stir as her pleasant dream of riding the Lord of the Shore, whom she had taken to calling Titan in recent weeks, faded away to be replaced with the sound of her alarm charm going off on Monday the second of March. The brunette quietly grumbled in her groggy state, a yawn escaping her lips. The hufflepuff had always been one to enjoy her sleep, yet lately she had been waking up earlier so she would have time to take care of the extra tasks which now presented themselves to her daily before classes. She leaned in to snuggle closer to Lizzy only for her honey eyes to shoot open in a mild panic when the ravenclaw was nowhere to be found beside her in the bed.
The panic coursed through her like a wave until she woke up enough to remember where her girlfriend had likely run off to. At the thought the panic evaporated to be replaced with a deep sadness while her heart ached. Poppy closed her eyes briefly to take a steadying breath before reopening them and climbing out of bed. Staying in her nightdress; the brunette grabbed two fresh uniforms and sets of underclothes from the wardrobe before heading out of the bedroom to see that Persephone had already dropped off their mail. She purposefully kept her eyes trained on the desk containing the mail, ignoring what she knew she would find between the bedroom and bathroom doors if she dared to look.
Looking through the letters; her face scrunched up in sorrow as she came across the letter from the Wilsons addressed to her rather than their daughter. They had started doing that two weeks ago, yet it still felt wrong somehow. It took a moment to collect herself before she was able to bring herself to open it and read the contents. Once she had finished, the hufflepuff raised a hand to rub her temples briefly before taking the letter and Elizabeth's copy of the Daily Prophet in hand while setting down the rest of the post. She couldn't put it off any longer despite knowing what she would see once she turned around.
With a heavy sigh Poppy turned to where the fireplace sat between the bedroom and bathroom to see the fire was going and that Elizabeth was sitting on the loveseat in front of the hearth. "Lizzy, My Love; trouble sleeping again?" She asked with a slight quiver in her voice as she approached and sat beside the auburn haired witch to give her an affectionate kiss on the cheek. When the other witch simply continued to stare into the flames despondently, Poppy continued in a soft tone as she took Lizzy's hand in hers. "My sweet and clever eagle, your parents and Annie sent a letter. Would you like to read it?"
