Last Time: After arriving in the Three Broomsticks; Lizzy left to search for Poppy and found her at Ollivanders. The two had very emotional conversation where Lizzy admitted to taking the potion despite saying she wouldn't and letting Sebastian kiss her. Eventually Poppy forgave her while saying they needed to discuss the lying and potions later, but fully dismissing the kiss as nonsense. The two flew back to school only to discover that Ranrok's forces were attacking the school from above as well. Poppy insisted that Lizzy drop her off so she could help the defenders, to which Elizabeth reluctantly agreed. Before Lizzy left for the repository she left Poppy with the Lord of the Shore and a bag full of plants useful in a fight. Poppy rode into battle atop the Graphorn to join her classmates in defense of the school. When all seemed to be lost Janus appeared upon the battlefield to sing his song and reenergize the defenders while striking fear into the hearts of the invaders. With renewed vigor Poppy led the charge atop her graphorn as the defenders surged forward. Soon the quidditch field exploded as a metallic dragon flew up into the sky only to be knocked back down the hole as Poppy heard Elizabeth's laughter. Concerned for her girlfriend, Poppy slid off the graphorn and left the battlefield only to be joined by Sebastián nd reluctantly agreeing to take him with her to the repository to help Lizzy.

Leaving Poppy behind to fight alongside the defenders had been extremely difficult for Elizabeth to do. As she made her way to the Map Chamber her mind kept wandering back to her badger and all of their friends who were risking their lives right that very moment. The auburn haired witch had never wanted this; for others, for the woman she loved, to be swept up in the same war that had been thrust upon her months ago. The thought of so many people she cared for being put in danger because she hadn't been clever enough, strong enough, or fast enough to put an end to this threat tore at her soul. If she had been better, less wrapped up in her own darkness; then perhaps the other students wouldn't have had to suffer like they were now. They had all deserved a hero to protect them; and yet all they had gotten when they needed one most was a monster.

But even then, this monster would play her part and do whatever it took to end this and keep as many safe as she could. No matter the cost to herself; she would keep Poppy, Sebastian, Natty, Ominis, and everyone else safe from Ranrok. Elizabeth entered the Map chamber with a manic look in her dark hazel eyes while all these thoughts passed through her mind, weighing her down at the same time they spurred her forward. Searching around she quickly found Professor Fig standing near the portraits of the Keepers and ran over to them.

"I have the wand; but we have to hurry. Things are far worse than we thought." Elizabeth began in a rush while Eleazar began to frown as he took in just how disheveled her appearance was between her wild expression and tattered robes marred with burns and cuts.

"Elizabeth, what happened. You look like you have been through hell." Her kind mentor interrupted her.

The interruption when they had so little time left irritated Elizabeth; yet she knew that Fig was simply worried for her. As such she forced a smile to her lips despite feeling the furthest from happy she could at the moment. "Rookwood kidnapped me outside of Ollivanders; but I took care of him." She said simply before her smile morphed into a look of grim determination. "However, that doesn't matter." The auburn haired witch looked between Professor Fig and the Keepers.

"Ranrok is already here. His forces are assaulting the school above as we speak. I saw them bringing down the barrier on my way here." The ravenclaw's face scrunched up as if she were crying, yet no tears came. "The students are out there fighting an enemy they should not have to face because of all the time we have wasted. My friends, my teachers, the witch I love; they are all in risk of dying now and it is our, my, fault. I took too long to finish the trials and now everyone will pay for it. I have to make this right. I need to get to the repository before Ranrok does so I can stop this once and for all." Elizabeth's voice quivered and her head ached terribly as she forced the emotional speech from her throat.
