CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE: RIVALRY OF QUEENS---THE DOWNFALL OF NIKA ARAGON

padaskol na naupo si Nika sa kanyang upuan. She scoffed, staring daggers at her own reflection on the vanity mirror. what happened recently made her blood boil and felt her ego being stomped badly.

what she expected to be the demise of Dulcinea's modelling career turned out to be a huge failure--- dahil mas pinili ni Primo Del Fuego ang libog nito keysa isagawa ng maayos ang kanilang plano. ang bobong yun, imbes na dalhin sa ibang lugar ang kinaiinisan nyang modelo ayon sa kanilang plano---sa common ladies room ba naman dinala at dun ginawan ng kababalaghan. kaya ang resulta, matinding kapalpakan at kahihiyan.

"that bloody Mudak!" she hissed, crumpling the broadsheet that shows the loser of a former heir who was now reduced to a hated convict. "You deserve to rot in jail, you svolach! kung hindi ka ba naman tanga at hayok sa laman, hindi sana pumalpak ang lahat! aarghhh!!! Bakero!"

Yes---all of Primo's doings are part of her plans to bring Dulcinea down. she's aware of how obsessed the guy is to her arch nemesis, and she took advantage of it. what they have conspired to do is so easy to execute, yet the poor excuse shithead of an heir used his d*ck more instead of his brains so everything was a huge mess. 

she breathed in and breathed out to ease her tensions dahil kanina nya pa gustong manampal sa inis. she gritted her teeth to know that Dulcinea seems to be protected by the people around her that bringing her down is hard to do. at isa pa sa ikina-irita nya ay ang katotohanang pati ang ultimate crush nya na si Zai Marzan, nasungkit na rin ng bruha nyang karibal.

"M-Ma'am..."

"What?!?" she snapped, making the person who called her nearly jump out her skin. napalunok ito at tila nagda-dalawang isip na lapitan sya.

"uhm, a-ano po... standby na po kayo, kukunan na po ang scenes nyo for the commercial."  wika ng babae na parte yata ng production crew, base sa uniform nito.

"is that so?" tanong nya dito, sabay taas ng isa nyang kilay. mabilis itong tumango. "if that's all you have to say, then leave. I'm so pissed right now and if you still want your undesirable face intact, you better get out of my sight."

she said haughtily, facing the mirror again. the crew member immediately walk away, as if she had her whipped on her feet. kamuntik pa itong madapa sa pagmamadali.

She slightly massage her temples to calm herself down. maya-maya pa, inaayusan na sya ng kanyang glam team para sa gagawin nyang TV commercial sa isang brand ng body lotion. a local, cheap brand that is. She doesn't want it, if not for the conditions written in her contract.

mas sumidhi lang ang kagustohan nyang malamangan si Dulcinea at mapasakanya ang lahat ng endorsement deals nito, kabilang na ang pagiging global ambassadress nito sa mga tanyag at kilalang luxury, high-end brands. she never wanted to have local endorsements, dahil naniniwala syang nasa international level ang gandang taglay nya. She's too sexy and gorgeous to be just holding a wannabe brand of lotion, kung pwede namang Victoria's Secret or Miss Dior ang dadapo sa mamahalin at mala-labanos sa puti nyang kutis.

that's just how vain she is and she doesn't give a f*ck about what other people thinks.
