I can barely keep my eyes open.

School has been stressing me out so much.

All I want is a 30 minute nap. Is that too much to ask!

I lean on the window and I slowly drift to sleep, only to be pulled out of my fatigue by yelling coming from outside.

I look out the window to see Jay and Kayla arguing.

"What could they be arguing about?" I ask myself.

I start to overthink, bombarding myself with so many questions.

I turn my attention back to the lesson.

It probably doesn't concer-

"I'm warning you Kayla!" My neck hurts from how fast I turned to look at them.

And it seems I'm not the only one  that's nosy.

The entire class is looking out the window too.

"What are you gonna do huh!?"

It's hard to hear what they are saying when they're not yelling, because the class is on the 4th floor.

But we all heard that.

"Your attention should be on me, not out the window" Mr Timothy orders.

We go back to pretending to listen to him.

When he turns his back I look out the window again, but their gone.

"Great" I mumble.

After my classes, I go looking for Jay, but he's not anywhere.

I wanted to ask him about his spat with Kayla, but I can't find him.

"It probably doesn't concern me" I remind myself.

I decide to meet Amelia in the dining hall.

"Hey Prada, where have you been?" She is with Jamal.

"I was looking for Jay" I say.

"Where did you check?" Jamal asks.

"Everywhere"

"He'll turn up" he says.

It doesn't calm my overthinking.

I don't listen to anything they are saying.

I perk up when Jay walks into the dinning hall.

But he doesn't look too happy.

"Where were you I was looking for you?" I ask.

"It doesn't matter. I'm here now, aren't I" he replies, rudely I might add.

"Okay?"

He goes on his phone, and I'm getting agitated by the second.

"Are you okay?"

He sighs frustratedly.

"Just peachy"

Amelia and Jamal look silently between us.

"I think I'll head to the hostel now. I'll see you later Amelia" I say angrily as I leave the dinning hall.

What was that about? Why is he acting like he has a problem with me all of a sudden?!
