Dani

I found myself in at the last place I wanted to be but Zak was right, his mother deserved to see Oliver since she was his grandmother. I knocked on the door and waited for her to open the door, the air was colder than I remembered it being as I looked around and noticed that it looked the same as it did when I was here last which was the day of the funeral. I heard the door slowly open and seen her standing there with a disgusted look on her face while she stared at me, I knew that she never cared for me but I promised that she could spend time with Oliver when I had time to come over.

Helen: I thought you would never come visit again.

Dani: I know it's been a while Ms. Helen but I...

Helen: well don't just stand there dear, come inside where it's warm.

I stepped inside and closed the door after Oliver ran over to her and climbed onto her lap.

Helen: you look just like your daddy and speaking of which, I have a few things I want you to have Dani, I know that he would want you to have them.

Dani: I really shouldn't Ms. Helen, it's been rough for me and I don't want anything that reminds me of your son.

Helen: nonsense child, you were his wife and he would want you to have them.

I watched as she handed me several pictures of us the day of our wedding. I walked upstairs into his old room while Oliver spent time with her as I quietly looked around his old bedroom and seen the pictures of us in several places, one picture in particular caught my attention, it was the day we first met, he had been staying with Zak when we first met and I remembered the way he was looking at me, it was like having a puppy giving someone a look of love and I knew we were meant to be together the first day we met.

Dani: I don't know if you're here but if you are I want you to know that I will always love you Alex...

After we had dinner with his mother we left and headed back to Vegas again, I didn't know if I could visit her again but I was going to try for Oliver since he wanted to return again and I wasn't going to tell him that he couldn't come back ever again. I knew he loved his grandma and I wasn't going to keep them apart.
