Several days passed since the night Dani left after the argument we had and I haven't seen her or our daughter since and I was beginning to worry about them. I sent her multiple texts and left numerous voicemail messages but she wasn't responding back to me so I did the last thing I could think of which was to drive to Zak's house.
I parked the car after I got there and knocked on the door, I seen the door open and he was standing there.
Zak: what are you doing here?
Dakota: I want to see my wife and daughter.
Zak: well Dani isn't here and KC is sleeping.
Dakota: where is she...?
Dani: why do you care...?
Dakota: because I miss my family.
Dani: oh now you all of a sudden miss your family? You didn't seem to miss them that night you called me a bitch.
Zak: you did what?!
I watched as she stood between us before Zak something that he would regret.
Dani: no Zak, he's not worth it...
Dakota: can we talk alone?
Dani: we can but I want bring KC until you prove to me that you will put your family first.
Dakota: fine...
We went somewhere private and talked about what happened and whether or not we would work things out.
Dakota: I really do miss you and KC
Dani: the way you acted that night should have been avoided and I don't have any intention of working things out with someone who thinks the worse of me.
Dakota: I am sorry for what I said. I shouldn't have called you a bitch I was just angry.
Dani: I know you were angry but you need to realize that Alex was the one who started the fight with Zak.
Dakota: I know, will you please come back home.
Dani: I will on one condition...
Dakota: I will do anything if it makes you come back home.
Dani: I wish I could believe you but I just can't right now. You hurt me Dakota and I really don't need you stressing me out and yelling in front of our daughter.
Dakota: have it your way...
Dani: this is what I'm talking about, you say you missing your family but you aren't showing me that you do. I won't waste any more of your time, I will get the rest of my things out and you won't have to worry about missing me anymore because this will be the last time we see each other.
Dakota: if that's what you want but I hope you're prepared to show up in court because I will be taking care of KC from now on.
Dani: I thought it would come to this, I think you will find that you won't be getting custody of KC and I hope you're okay with spending time with her in a public place from now on.
Dakota: if it's a fight you want, it's what you will get.
I dropped her off Zak's house and left without saying another word to her after she got out of my car.
