Dakota

I had arrived back to see my mom and sisters for a couple of days, since I wasn't allowed back at the house; Tanner said I could stay with him and his mom while I was here. I invited my mom and sisters out to dinner and they told me that they would come but when they got to where we were having dinner, I seen dad walk inside with them, I wasn't happy with him being here and I let them know that I wasn't.

Dakota: what is he doing here...?

His mom: despite what happened when you two last seen each other, he is still your father and I want you both to end the arguing.

Dakota: I will be nice only cause you and the girls are here but don't expect me to speak with him.

I watched as he sat down beside mom after he left the bathroom.

His dad: I thought you said we were going to join your friends for dinner.

His mom: I knew you wouldn't come if I told you who we were meeting.

His dad: you're right I wouldn't. He turned his back on his family and you expect me to eat dinner with him?

His mom: yes I do, he is still your son and I want you both to stop fighting.

Chelsea: mom is right dad, this needs to stop. Dakota has a right to be with who he wants, it's his life and he is old enough to make decisions for himself without you treating him like he is still five years old.

His dad: I just want what's best for him and you girls, I apologize for how I handled things last time Dakota, is your girlfriend here with you...?

I was about to answer his question when I felt my phone vibrate against my leg, I quickly looked at the text and seen a picture of two pregnancy tests that were both positive along with a note that said "you're going to be a daddy"

His mom: Dakota, your dad asked a question.

Dakota: no she didn't come with me...

I quickly showed the text to Chelsea and she immediately begun overwhelmed with joy.

Chelsea: no way!

Dakota: she actually just text me...

His dad: I wish she would have come with you so I could apologize to her.

His mom: is everything okay with her Dakota...?

Dakota: everything is fine. I was just told that I'm going to be a dad.

His dad: can you repeat that son...?

Dakota: I said I'm going to be a dad, Dani just told me that she's pregnant with our child.

My dad congratulated me and both of my sisters hugged me along with our mom. I told Alex and Tanner as well and they were both happy for us. I decided to head back home tonight so I could be with her as we celebrated and I got back home around three in the morning, I knew that she would be sleeping and I tried not to disturb her.
