After speaking with Dakota about what happened, I waited a few days before meeting his friends again despite being told that it led to one of them being punched.

I was about to head out to enjoy the city when I heard my name being called and I seen Dakota cross the street with the same female that was with him the other day.

Dakota: I hope you slept good last night...

Dani: I wish I did but the bed is uncomfortable. What do you have planned for today?

Dakota: well I...

Chelsea: of course you would hesitate Dakota, just ask her or I will do it for you...

Dani: ask me what...?
I waited for him to say something but he didn't and I could tell he was nervous about asking me whatever it was he was going to ask.

Chelsea: he slipped up and mentioned you in front of our parents during dinner last night and they wanted to meet you, do you mind joining us for dinner tonight? There's a popular place in the next city that our parents have in mind.

Dani: I would love to join you, I don't have any other plans.

Chelsea: do you mind picking up Dakota so he can show you the way there?

Dani: I don't mind picking him up...

Dakota: yeah, you know how older siblings are.

Dani: you could have asked me yourself, I don't bite...

Dani: considering that I will be meeting your parents, it's not exactly asking me out. Do you want to try again since you're sister isn't here?

I heard him let out a deep breath while looking at me...

Dani: you act like I'm going to get angry or something, you don't have to be afraid of asking me questions. Would you like to show me around the city?

Dakota: I know where an abandoned building is if you want to go explore it.

Dani: sure. It will make a great video for my YouTube channel, my followers have been asking for something new, I will have to go back to my room and grab a few things first...

We walked what felt like hours when the place was a twenty minute walk from the hotel through a heavy wooded area, the place looked fairly new and he shared some information about the place while I recorded it and climbed through a hole that was made in a piece of wood, I noticed that the windows had thick iron bars over the windows as I looked around, we agreed to split up so we could get some good footage and I heard what sounded like a child weeping. I had put the camera on a tripod so I could investigate when it stopped, I listened for the sound again and was focused on hearing it when Dakota snuck up behind me and scared me.
