Dakota

After Dani left my house, I got a phone call from Chelsea who had sounded like she was panicking, I quickly headed to where she said she was and she explained everything to me again.

Chelsea: I tried stopping him but he wouldn't listen to me.

Dakota: why would you two even come here?

I headed inside and begun looking around the place. I wasn't sure why her friend would think breaking into this place was a good idea but I was determined to find him and leave quickly but I didn't find him and I was taken to jail.

I called Chelsea after I got there and I heard Dani in the background. I knew that they set me up.

Dani: how does it feel being played?

Dakota: you knew about this?

Dani: of course, who do you think thought about the place?

I hung up the phone and had been taken to a cell. I didn't know what would happen but when I seen a judge he had me released and granted custody to Dani. I left the courtroom and headed back to my house after Alex drove my car to me. I took him home before going to mine, I knew that I messed up and now I would be visiting with KC in a public place that Dani would choose, I just hope that she would decide to live with me when she gets older.

Two days passed since I last spoke with anyone or left the house, I had several people call or text if they didn't come by but I didn't let anyone inside or answer my phone when it rang, I had officially became numb.

I shut the world out and the only person that I let in was Dani when she let me see our daughter and even she noticed how I was acting.

Dani: what's going on with you Dakota...?

Dakota: I get to see my daughter in a public place like I'm going to do something stupid.

Dani: I didn't mean that, I can't help but notice that you seem distant.

Dakota: How would it make you feel if you were in my shoes Dani? you and my sister set me up and because of it, I lost any chances I had of getting custody of KC. How am I supposed to feel?

Dani: I'm sorry that you're hurting but you need to remember that you played me first. You used me for sex Dakota but I'm sorry that you're in a bad place right now.

I didn't say anything else and I watched her leave with KC and I did the same thing, I knew what I did to her was wrong and I was going to apologize for it when I seen her again.
