I heard Zak telling the others that he decided to leave and I needed to know what was going on so I decided to text him

*texts* (DL = Dakota Laden, DS = Dani Slater)

DS: everything okay? We were just told that you decided to leave the crew.

DL: all good. I just need to do my own thing from now on.

DS: I hope it all works out for you and I wish you the best of luck with everything you do from now on.

DL: thank you Dani...

I pushed my phone inside the pocket of the hoodie I was wearing, I knew it wasn't mine and I would give it back when we seen each other again, I felt Aaron place his hands on my shoulders while Zak was talking with him, I wasn't paying attention to what he was saying because I had zoned out and thought about the real reason Dakota left the crew. I decided to go visit him while we had time off, Zak agreed to take care of Oliver until I got back. I was given the address of where I needed to go and booked a flight there along with reserving a hotel room for a few days, I finally arrived and drove to the address Zak gave me but it didn't look like anyone was here so I started driving away when I seen him walk outside and began jogging while I followed close behind him, he finally stopped at a nearby park and sat down on a bench while he looked to be waiting for someone. I parked the car and sat down next to him, I don't think he realized it was me until I tapped him on his shoulder.

Dakota: what are you doing here? You should have told me you were coming.

Dani: it wouldn't be a surprise if I told you I was coming, I wanted to see how you were doing.

Dakota: I'm good. I decided to leave because I wanted to start my own show with my close friends.

Dani: I'm happy for you and that you want to grow as a person, I just hope you don't forget the friends that you made along the way.

Dakota: I would never forget about those friends, they mean alot to me and I hope I get to see more of them in the future.

Dani: I'm sure you will, if fate allows it...
