I had woken up hearing Dani's son yelling which made me jump up thinking something was wrong and I seen Dani standing in the kitchen cooking. I slowly walked over to where he was sitting when she seen me sit down next to him.
Dani: good morning, I hope you slept good.
Devin: I was sleeping good until I heard yelling.
Dani: Oliver has a weird way of waking others up. Are you hungry?
Devin: I don't usually eat everyday.
Dani: I know you said you haven't eaten two days prior to you eating last night but I can't make you eat if you don't want to.
Devin: I will eat dinner tonight.
Dani: do you have any plans today?
Devin: I was going to go job searching, if you didn't mind driving.
Dani: I don't mind, let Oliver finish eating and we will go.
Devin: I will get a shower while he eats...
I looked through my duffle bags and grabbed a outfit that looked presentable enough until I finished looking for a job.
Hours passed since I started looking but nobody was hiring and Dani decided to try one more place I got the same results so she drove back to the house.
Dani: you'll find something Devin, don't give up. If you don't hear back from anyone by the end of the week, I will talk to Zak about letting you work for him.
Devin: thanks Dani...
I had spent the rest of the day getting to know her while we slowly bonded with each other, it turns out that Sheila was wrong about her, Dani wasn't the person she made her out to be. I knew that we would get along just fine and I was happy that she finally introduced me as Oliver's other uncle which made him instantly give me a hug after he dropped the toy he was holding.
