I ran a bath for Oliver while I got dressed before we met the guys for dinner, I felt a blast of cold air and a cold sensation on my shoulder after I finished getting dress, I knew he was here but I didn't hear him until I made sure our son was ready to go, I dried him off and helped him get dressed then helped him in his car seat and drove to the restaurant after Zak text me where to meet them at. I arrived there twenty minutes late due to heavy traffic. I parked the car and walked inside after getting Oliver.

Zak: oh good, you're here. I didn't think you were coming.

Dani: traffic was heavy sorry we're late. Have you guys ordered yet...?

Zak: no we decided to wait for you two...

I sat down and seen someone that I didn't recognize.

Dani: I didn't realize a fan of the show would be joining us.

Zak: he isn't exactly a fan, this is the new crew member.

Dani: oh well, it's nice to meet you. My name is Dani.

Dakota: my name is Dakota. It's nice meeting you.

I shook his hand and shook it, I noticed that Zak kept looking at me and him while trying not to make it obvious, we finally ordered and waited for thirty minutes, I made Oliver sit beside me as he quickly bonded with Dakota which was something that he never did.

Dakota: who is this handsome young man?

Zak: his name is Oliver...

Dakota: I bet you help your dad with everything, don't you?

I excused myself from the table and walked to the bathroom so I could dry my eyes when I heard his voice but I didn't respond since there were other women in here with me.

Alex: it's been four years Dani, when are you going to move on...?

I waited for the last woman to leave before I answered his question that way nobody would think I was crazy

Dani: it's not that easy...

Alex: because you're holding on to me, I know we have a son together but you need to let me go Dani.

I walked out of the bathroom and seen Zak standing outside the door.

Zak: are you okay?

Dani: yeah, I just needed to clean my face.

Zak: you know you can always talk to me about it. I know you're trying to stay strong for your son but you don't have to hide your emotions, I know you miss him but he would want you to be happy and move on.

Dani: it's just hard, I look at our son and he reminds me of his dad.

Zak: come finish eating, the others are worried about you.

I walked back to the table and quickly sat down while I pretended that I was okay.
