I had been anxious about the birth of our child, which was supposed to be her a couple days ago but decided to wait. I was at mom's house with Zak, Devin and Oliver when I felt something wet immediately hit me.

I quickly stood up and noticed that there was water on the floor and I tried staying calm but was hit with a rush of pain. I watched as Zak come to me and helped me.

Zak: are you okay?

Dani: my water broke.

Zak: okay, let's get you to the hospital, Devin can you go unlock the car?

I watched as Drvin ran to where my car was while Zak helped me inside.

Dani: can someone call Dakota?

Her mom: I will call Dakota, just focus on the baby Dani.

We finally arrived at the hospital and I was taken to a private room, despite my water breaking the baby wasn't ready to make an appearance just yet but the doctor said it wouldn't be much longer. I still waited for Dakota to come but I didn't hear anything from him. The doctor returned during the night and gave me something in the I.V. line to help speed up the process, I laid on my side and fell asleep.

When I woke up I felt someone holding my hand and I seen Dakota sitting next to the bed while he gently rubbed his thumb against the top of my hand. I was about to say something when I felt the same sensation of pain which caused me to squeeze his hand.

Dakota: it's okay Dani...

Dani: It hurts....

Dakota: you're going to get through this.

I was checked on more frequently and I knew it was time for the baby to make an appearance, I had been taken to the delivery room after one of the nurses noticed that I was crowning, I was helped on the bed and prepared for the delivery of our child. After the baby was born, the nurse announced that we had a girl and was immediately handed to me after the umbilical cord was cut. I had been taken to a room so that my family could come see the baby, Dakota and myself decided on naming her Kamila Cameron Laden or KC for short. She had Dakota's smile and my blue eyes, I watched as everyone held her and Devin was about to hold her when she started crying so Dakota handed her to me.

Dani: she hasn't been fed yet, can you guys come back later?

I watched as everyone except Dakota left so I could feed her, she immediately fell asleep and I noticed Dakota do the same thing, I watched as Devin and Zak had come back in the room and carefully placed her in Devin's arms and slowly sat down.

Devin: she's so tiny.

I was about to say something when I seen Dakota wake up.

Zak: you must be tired Dakota?

Dakota: I was just resting my eyes.

I watched as he pulled out his phone and text someone, my mom had come back in the room with Oliver and I watched as Zak put him in the bed with me so he could meet his sister, Devin stood up and let Oliver see her, I watched as she grabbed his finger after he gently rubbed her arm after I told him not to touch her face or head.

I seen Chelsea, Tanner and Alex walk in the room as they immediately gathered around her, everyone had left at this point except Zak and I noticed that Alex kept his eyes on him. I knew how Alex felt about Zak, I just hoped they didn't get into an argument

Chelsea: I never thought my baby brother would make an adorable baby with anyone but she's absolutely adorable.

Dakota: that's a bit harsh Chels, I don't look that bad.

Tanner: I'm with Chelsea on this one, she is adorable. She must get it from her mother.

Dakota: that hurts...

I continued watching Alex and Zak hoping that they wouldn't start arguing, I felt my phone vibrate against my leg and seen that Zak had text me.

Z: why is this kid staring at me?

D: he has a problem with you for some reason, just ignore him.

Zak: it's hard to ignore someone who won't stop staring, but I will leave to avoid an argument.

I watched as Zak stood up and walked over to me and gave me a hug before he left and Alex had calmed down then interacted with the others. After they left, Dakota had placed KC in the crib after she ate, I was starting to feel weak and I think Dakota knew that since I haven't eaten since before I was brought here.

Dakota: you should eat some of the food that you asked for, it will make you feel better.

I did as he suggested and slowly started falling asleep after I finished eating.

Dakota: get some sleep baby, I will be here when you wake up.

Dani: I love you...

Dakota: I love you too now get some rest, you did amazing.

I felt him kiss the top of my head and fell asleep afterwards.
