Robin slapped her lunch down with uncalled-for force in front of Jenny before kicking her legs over the bench and sitting down.

"I just totally flunked that geography test," She said with a groan. "I swear I'm gonna fail that class."

Jenny chuckled at her exaggeration, "No way... you have so much time to redeem yourself! We're only in Sophomore year."

Jenny picked a grape off of Robin's tray and ate it. Robin narrowed her eyes in a second of disapproval before continuing.

"Yeah well, you know who doesn't have a lot of time to redeem himself?"

"Who?"

"Eddie Munson."

"Eddie Munson?"

"Ya. Apparently, the guy's supposed to be graduating this year but his attendance is zip, and his test scores are nada," She said, clearly very invested in this knowledge. Jenny rolled her eyes.

"Oh please, we've been at school, what? Barely 2 months? People have to be exaggerating."

"Nuh-uh! Emma from band is a trusted source."

"Uh-huh! Who even is this guy?"

"I- Well, no clue. But! Point stands... What was my point?" Jenny laughed at Robin's scattered nature.

"I don't know, you're the one telling the story."

"I hate it when you do that," Robin grumbled, pointing an accusatory finger at Jenny, though Jenny knew she didn't mean it.

"Hey it's what my dad always does when I lose my train of thought," Jenny said with a shrug.

"Gosh, we are so similar."

"And that's why we're friends."

"That and the fact that apparently, no one else wants to be," Robin added, pointing the straw of her milk cartoon at Jenny for emphasis. Jenny gasped dramatically.

"What? It's so true!" Robin said.

"I know but saying it out loud?" Jenny tutted jokingly making Robin giggle.

Robin hissed like she was in pain, becoming distracted by someone who was behind Jenny.

"Here comes Nancy Wheeler... My God Harrington's hair is atrocious today. Like- seriously bad."

Jenny laughed and turned to look over her shoulder, watching as Nancy took her seat next to Steve ' The Hair' Harrington.

"He looks like a seagull." She said, making Robin laugh.

"Totally!" Robin's brow furrowed as Jenny's attention returned to her lunch. "It looks like she's totally just ditched her friend. Yknow, the ginger?"

Jenny hummed. She honestly couldn't care less about Nancy Wheeler and her friend-ditching. "Hey, my dad said he's going with the Chief into that lab today."

"Oooh, sick as!" Robin said between bites of food, completely forgetting about Barb, "You think he'll come back with powers?"

"Maybe. Then he could be a superhero!"

"He has always wanted to be a superhero," Robin said in agreement.

"That's why he changed professions."

"Fred Dean, accountant, just doesn't flow as nicely as Officer Dean."

"Reminder to all students that tonight's football game–"
