this is going to be quick because i LOATHE author's notes but i need to preface this story with:
• dustin's parents are divorced (apparently, according to google, this isn't canon?!), his dad is completely absent.
• i've named steve's parents Linda and Charles.
• the document i write on refuses to load grammarly bc it's gotten so big, so unfortunately there will be words like "mum" or spelling mistakes that i've probably missed because it's just too hard to rake through it all now.
and before i get hounded for adding random hobbies to characters you might find "out of character":
• nancy in the yearbook listed one of her hobbies as swimming
• steve was a swim co-captain, as he mentioned in s4
