Ch. 23 - The Way to the Stomach

They finish class with Fairy Godmother, and are so annoyed.

When the others leave, Demi stays, and since she got job in the library she has an excuse too.

"Fairy Godmother know that the others are gone I gave something to tell you."

"What is it my dear?"

"Before we left the other villains threatened their kids into trying to steal your wand. My father not included. I know that we were brought here to prove we could become heroes, and not go down the path of our parents. I am telling you in the hopes that you will move your wand someplace safer. And that you will not use this as some way to test the other kids. If you remove the temptation, then they will have a chance to see what Auradon can offer them that the Isle could not. "

"I hear what you are saying Demi, but the wand is safe where it is."

"And I am telling that this world's most dangerous villains, people who would starve, and abuse their own kids, want that wand and she will try to get it. So please listen to me, and do not turn this into some test, because we both know how those turn out in Fairy Tales."

FG nods her head, and Demi leaves for next class. On the way she gets lost. People staring at her, not offering her help. She would use magic, but she is out in the open.

"Are you lost?" Demi turns around and Chad is there.

"Yes. If Tiger had taken me on that tour, I would know where everything is."

"What class do you have next?"

"Castle Economics with Jelena of Maldonia."

"That's great, that is where I am going. Come with me. It is actually my favorite class. One of the ones I am doing well in. We get to cook amazing recipes, at the end of the year festival, we get to set up a booth and sell them."

"That sounds like fun."

"There is an odd number of students. I am the only one with a partner. If you don't mind, would you like to be mine? My partner."

"I don't mind."

"Cool, here we are."

They make it to the classroom. And the teacher is there a very young woman, in a green dress. The other students still filling in.

"Miss Jelena this is Demi. One of the new students. Since I do not have a partner, do you think she could mine?"

"Oh I heard. I hope you like my class. And yes, she can be your partner. Have a seat." The teachers says with a thick accent."

Chad and Demi go to their desks. Demi ask, "Who is she the child of?"

"King Naveen and Queen Tiana of Maldonia."

All the kids file in.

"Ok students today we will be following the recipe of my mother's favorite dessert, and home staple. It is called a beignets."
