Ch.6 - Out in the Open

Demi's POV

"Who is the Big Bad Wolf?"

"What do you mean, who he is? He is one of the most terrifying villains in the land. He got cursed into a beast, and went on a killing spree, killing both villains and heroes. How have you not heard of him?"

"Well you are not asking the questions here, number one, and number two, if he is a villain why is he not on the isle?"

"When the wolf eats a magic creature, he gains the powers and abilities of that creature. The curse that forced all the villains to the Isle did not affect him because he ate lot of fairies, and they are made of innate goodness. The curse only worked on people who were evil or up to evil deeds."

"Why is he after you?"

"I do not know. Probably because my father wounded him terribly trying to save my mom, and great grandmother."

"How did he find you?"

"I was on the way to the school to bring them their wheat delivery, when my buggy broke. I stepped down and that is when I saw him, and I started running, and landed here."

"Why do you not go to Auradon Prep?"

"My family and the people in my village are simple farmers. We have a small school there. I only come here once a month with a new delivery."

Silence fills the room, as Demi tries to decide what to do with all this information.

Back With Chad

Chad makes his way back to his dorm. And as soon as he gets inside. He gets a phone call from his dad.

"Hey dad, what do you need?"

"What is going with you?"

"Nothing just hanging around my room."

"Are you sure? Not colluding with villains or the child of a villain."

"What are you talking about?"

"Audrey called your mother and I and told us that you have been dating the daughter of a villain. Tell me this is not true."

"It is true. Her name is Demi, she..."

His dad interrupts him. "What is wrong with you? Do you know how this could ruin our image? You are already..."

"What dad! I am what. A failure. An idiot. The worst option for an heir. You never fail at telling me."

"Charles I am just trying to make sure you have the best options in life. Being with a villain will never do that for you. She could do something horrible and be force back to island at any time."

"You do not even know her. She is never going back, because she is a friend of the fairies."

"What! No one has held that title for a long a time."

"Well she does, and she can never be forced back unless Auradon wants war."

"Well there is only one thing to do. Your break is coming up, you will bring home to meet everyone."

"Dad!"

"Bye Charles." Chad puts his phone down and lies in his bed.

"Holy Crap. Demi might not like this."
