Ch.38 - Ratting Them Out

"It is about the other Vk's."

Ben raises his head at that.

"I was hoping that Fairy Godmother would tell you, but I guess I was right in my instinct not to trust her. Before we left the other villains threatened their kids into trying to steal her wand. My father not included. I told her in the hopes that she would move her wand someplace safer, but instead it is still in the Museum, where they would try to steal it. The other VK's are annoying, but they are not bad. They has terrible lives on the Isle, but need the chance for a better life." Demi says to Ben, leaving out the part where Mal tried to dose him with love potion. Instead the love potion cookie was eaten by Doug. And now Evie, and Mal are fighting until she breaks the spell, which she will not be able to unless Demi helps her.

"Thank you Demi for bringing this to my attention. Fairy Godmother remove you wand from the Fairy Tale Museum, have it taken and locked away only until you need it."

Fairy Godmother nods, "I will Prince Ben. And too Demi, I am sorry, but I really wanted to test them, just to see how far their parents' roots have spread in them."

Demi looks at her with disgust. "I think it is great that a teacher and headmaster of a school, should play with the lives of their wards. And what great victims the VK's would make. Abused and barely fed their whole entire lives. I thank you Fairy Godmother, because you should me you are not someone to trust."

Fairy Godmother mouth lies gob smacked, along with everyone else's.

"Demi before you, your Aunt Elyon sent a missive. She wanted us to allow you to come to her castle, but I guess as a citizen, you can make that decision on your own." Ben hands her letter sealed with a wax stamp, the stamp's image in the form of the Heart of Kandrakar.
