Ch. 31 - Shape Shifter

Random's POV

We have been watching the girl for months, and she has shown her hand yet. I walk around the dance waiting for to attend, so I can have my acquaintances raid her room. Those other villain kids, and her roommate has arrived, but she has not shown up. We need all those magical items, she is hiding. With them, the power we could contain. She must be doing whatever spell she needs for those fairies.

I send out the signal to my acquaintance, that I will go to her room. I shapeshift into a safe face, queen Belle, but I am still covered by my cloak to avoid wondering eyes. I knock on her door.

"Who is it?"

"It is Belle."

"I am coming, one moment." She opens the door. "Hello Mrs. Belle, how can I help you?"

"I came to check on you. There are only a few students who decided not to come to the dance tonight."

"Why? Came to make sure that I am not planning to take over the world. Or become the queen of Auradon? I am kidding. I am fine I am just watching movies, and eating popcorn."

"I know what the people on the Isle must think of us Royals, but I really did come to make sure that you are settling in." Demi moves aside to let me in. I walk inside to see if she left anything out of order. I do not know what traps she set up. I look on the desk, and there is only one picture. A picture of the monster Phobos.

"Your side is barely decorated. Just one picture?"

"Yes. It is a picture of my dad. The most important person in my life. The only person in my life."

"Oh. Well. Now that I see you are enjoying yourself, I will go. Have a good night." I walk out the door.

"Goodnight."

I whisper to the others, "She has the Heart of Kandrakar, and who knows which other Magical tools. We need to get them if we are going to turn this world into Meridian."
