Kai's POV
It has been a few weeks after the burial.
Ever since Oli spoke that way to Kenzie, she never uttered a word. It's just like her when we flew from Korea to Manila.
Walang reaction, walang imik, wala dito.
Oli has been apologizing nonstop, but every time, he's met with silence. I want to help him with Kenzie but I don't know how. Even I, was met with silence.
"Mahal, I cooked dinner. Kain na tayo," pagyaya ko sa kanya while she's scrolling through her phone.
She sighed before she stood up at maglakad papuntang kitchen.
I cooked her favorite meal to try to brighten up her mood but I don't think she's even here to know that she's eating her favorite food.
For the whole 30 minutes that she spent trying to ear her food, she took 4 bites.
She stood up and kissed me on my cheeks to show her appreciation.
"Thank you, Mahal," mahina niyang bulong.
Before I knew it, I was tearing up.
She looked surprised so I immediately wiped my tears.
"I missed your voice, Kenzie," sabi ko sa kanya and she smiled softly.
Hinila niya ang upuan ko palayo sa table then sat on my lap.
"I'm sorry," mahina niyang sabi as she kiss my lips.
"I miss you," bulong ko sa kanya.
"I miss you too," sabi niya pa and the she started to kiss me hardly and with so much passion.
She bit my lip which made me moan.
"I missed your fucking moan," bulong niya as she proceeded to kiss my neck.
Before I knew it, nararamdaman ko nang nababasa ang leeg ko papuntang dibdib ko.
I looked at Kenzie only to see her crying.
"What's wrong, Mahal?" Nag-aalala kong tanong sa kanya.
Hindi niya ako sinagot at niyakap lang ako nang mahigpit.
"Hindi ka pa ba pagod sakin?" Tanong niya and I shook my head.
"Hinding hindi ako mapapagod sayo," sabi ko and she sighed as if she was disappointed.
Wh are yoy disappointed, Kenzie? Ayaw mo na ba? Gusto mo na bang magsawa ako? Ikaw na ba ang sawa?
"I love you, but I don't think I can give you what you want anymore," tahimik niyang sabi while tracing lines on my face.
"What is it do you think that I want?" Tanong ko and she bit her lip.
"Me. Wala na ata ako mabibigay sayo. I'm all used up," sagot niya and I started to get anxious.
Is she breaking up with me?
"I don't care. It doesn't always gave to be 50/50 for us to work. It can be 99/1. I don't care," nagagalit kong sabi sa kanya and she smiled.
"I love you, so much." Nanggigigil niyang sabi at kinurot ang mga pisngi ng mukha ko.
"I'll promise you one thing, Kai," sabi niya and I looked at her, waiting for her promise.
"I promise to walk away, kapag hindi ka na masaya. I'll always be eternally happy with you. Kahit na may mga panahon na I don't show it, I'm happy with you. So, kapag hindi ka na masaya, and you can't bring yourself to leave, I'll do it for us. That's my promise," sabi niya na ikinagalit ko.
