It had been a few weeks since the events involving the Crimson Lance and the Great Vault. Since then, the ragtag group of heroes who had saved Pandora in its hour of need had stuck around the planet, growing fond of the people they'd met on their journey to find the Vault. They mainly did all sorts of odd jobs for the people of Fyrestone and New Haven. Including Helena Pierce, Dr. Zed, Scooter, Markus, Ernest, Shep, Lucky, Claptrap and Tannis.
The jobs usually paid well, and helped the five adventurers get better gear over time. They were currently at Lucky's new bar in New Haven as they looked over any other jobs from the bounty board. Owen was cleaning up his shotgun, which he'd nicknamed TK, in honor of their fallen ally. Brick was napping in one of the booths, snoring lightly. Lilith simply sat there, looking bored. Mordecai drank a bottle of beer as Roland read off various jobs. He read off, "help Marcus stockpile some weapons. Rescue more Claptrap's. Listen to Dr. Zed's new script…." Owen commented, "I heard it. A very strange movie script. 'The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned.'" Mordecai said, "I'm just confused by the premise. Was it just supposed to be him with a mustache as the villain?" Lilith said, "no, I think he said that he has a brother named Ned." Mordecai asked, "didn't he also mention a brother named Ted?" Owen said, "yeah, but when I pressed further, he refused to talk about his other brother. It was weird…." Roland continued, "retrieve Tannis' favorite pair of socks she named David and Ashley. Kill the Skags at Crazy Earl's junkyard while he's trying to find a way to Elpis…. Wait, here's something new…." Lilith asked, "what is it?" Roland said, "some sort of tournament at a place called the Underdome." Owen asked, "what kind of tournament?" Brick instantly woke up and said, "tournament? That means fighting!" Owen commented, "yeah, tournaments do generally mean fighting. So Roland, what's the tournament?" Roland said, "hmm…. Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot? Compete for a chance at a glorious cash prize and the opportunity to go on a date with Mad Moxxi herself." Mordecai asked, "so, you win the tournament, you get money and a date?" Roland said, "seems like it." Owen asked, "what does Moxxi look like?" Lucky overheard them and said, "oh yeah! Moxxi. That's Scooter's mom!" Mordecai said, "wait…. The tournament is to win a date with Scooter's mom?" Lilith asked, "some trailer park hillbilly? Who'd wanna date that?" Lucky said, "I'm guessing none of you have ever seen Moxxi?" The group all shook their heads no. Lucky said as he rummaged behind the bar, "three husbands. One of them was Marcus. I heard those two are still friends, despite being divorced." Lucky then pulled out a poster of Mad Moxxi. And they were all VERY surprised. Moxxi was a total beauty!

An older woman with a killer body consisting of very large breasts, a firm bubble butt, and beautiful features with carny-esque makeup matching the red ringmaster style coat that showed off her prominent cleavage and the hat she wore atop her styled brown hair. Brick asked, "THAT'S SCOOTER'S MOM?!" Lucky said, "yep. Best two weeks of my life, dating her. Don't tell Scooter I said that. He's already pissed at me." Owen asked, "how did someone like Scooter, no offense to the man, come from someone so…. So…." Lilith said, "insanely hot?" Everyone looked at Lilith. She said, "what? Even as a straight girl, I can admit she's a knockout." Lucky explained, "yeah, many men and women have fallen for her. Moxxi and her kids used to be members of the Hodunk clan. Moxxi left with her kids when they got older. Ellie helps Scooter with his business from time to time, but she ain't on speaking terms with her mom for some reason." Mordecai asked, "so this tournament is to win a cash prize and a date with her?" Lucky said, "yep. Although I bet Scooter is pissed about it…." …. Scooter was smashing a Spiderant he caught with a sledgehammer to curb his anger. …. Brick said, "eh, I'm sure he's fine." Lilith raised an eyebrow and said, "I don't know about you guys, but I'm not interested in dating Moxxi. Not into women. But the money could come in handy." Roland said, "well, she left a description on the invitation for the tournament. Here it is." They heard the naturally sultry voice of Moxxi say, "My 1st husband was a dirtbag, and a cheat. My 2nd husband was fun. I figured by then, that I deserved a toy, all for myself, and that's what I got. Still wish I hadn't broken my toy. My 3rd husband was good with numbers…. And his hands. We’re still friends, kind of. We're civil. I'm looking for my 4th, you know, on the prowl. I don't know when I'll meet him, or where I'll meet him, but he's out there. For now, I'll get my jollies off on bringing pain and pleasure. And in the end, the crowd will love me for my brutality. I'll make them yearn for more and more of my pain. I'll be cruel and enjoy myself. When the thrill wears off, I'll leave and find a new toy. Until then, not too different from matrimony, come to think of it. Maybe the coliseum is my 4th husband, in a way. But anyway, come to the Underdome if you're looking for money…. And maybe something more…." The ad for the Underdome tournament ended.
