Y/n's POV

The next morning, you and Kalisa got ready once again and headed to the main hall. You had to rush since there was a meeting you had to intend to about the next mission. Since you slept in late, you arrived a little bit late. Astrid just ruffled your hair, chuckling at how long you can sleep for .

Hiccup began explaining a plan,
" There are even more dragons located in the south east of this island. There are 10x more guards as last time and there's something they're protecting, but I don't think it's a dragon. I think it's bad so we need to take action,"

He explained the plan before getting ready to leave. He grabbed his flame sword and put on his armour then sat on Toothless. You placed on your armour, which was silver, and got onto Amethyst. The rest of the squad did the same and set off with Hiccup taking the lead.

Kalisa was being babysat by Gothi and Valka so that was something to not worry about through the mission. You had no idea why, but the closer you got to the island the more nauseous you felt. It was like a tsunami of energy was crashing into your body, overwhelming you completely. It came to the point where your hair was slowly turning green, luckily it wasn't visible from afar.

You didn't realise the concerned and curious looks Hiccup was sending beside you. He could read you like a book. He could tell how you fiddled with your hands and fiddling with the tips of your hair. He analysed your actions closely and knew what you meant for it.

He was going to ask what was wrong but the arrival of the Island stopped him from doing so. You all hid beside a few bushes, making sure to he quiet whilst watching the dragon trappers guard the multiple cages of dragons.

You whispered to Hiccup,
" I will go and get the thing they're protecting the most, the nature of the Island can guide me,"

Hiccup shook his head,
" I won't let you go alone. I'll go with you, the rest of you can free those dragons,"

The group nodded in agreement, all of you splitting up into different groups. You went away into the woods with Hiccup beside you before placing your hands on the fresh grass. Inhaling deeply, you felt the magic and earth course through your veins, as if you were one with the earth.

Turn left then go straight on.

You grinned at the nature's voice, both of you going the directions. Hiccup didn't hear a thing, but he trusted you. The more you walked closer the more you felt sick to the stomach, but not in a bad way. It was like you were connected to another side of the string, but you didn't know who was at the other end.

Once you reached what they were protecting, it was a giant metal cage with nothing but a small vent. There was no way to see what was inside. It was just a giant metal box.

You whispered to Hiccup, making sure they won't hear,
" I'll get rid of the guards, you free what's inside,"

He seemed hesitant but nodded. You charged out of the bushes, the runes appearing on your body once again, glowing bright green. You made large, thick vines emerge from the ground and trees. They wrapped around every guard like a snake, throwing them over the trees and through the bushes, knocking them unconscious.

Hiccup opened the door by stealing the keys and ran inside. He didn't expect to see what he saw. Instead of a dragon; it was a guy around his age. His hair was up to his shoulders; it was as white as snow. His skin was pale and smooth. He wore baggy, dark blue pants with fur coated on the top and had a long, fleecy jacket on, which was un strapped, revealing his abs and muscular chest.

His hands were covered in a metal chain and he was knelt onto the floor. He looked up, his ocean blue eyes glowing in the abyss of the cage. What Hiccup noticed was the water runes on the exact place yours and Kalisa's were.

Hiccup's eyes widened in realisation.

It was the water spirit.

After knocking all the guards out, you ran into the cage to look at the person in shock. You had found another person who possessed an element. Smiling in victory, you ran over as Hiccup broke the chains with his flame sword. The guys body dropped to the floor, clearly being weak from the lack of air and food.

You placed his arm over your shoulder for support as you helped him walk out of the cage. You whistled, signalling Amethyst. She landed beside you with a toothless grin whilst you helped him on your dragon. Toothless came just in time before you both flew away from the island with your friends and the dragons that had been freed.

The guy had his head on your shoulder from behind with his arms gently around your waist for support. You failed to notice the jealous looks Hiccup sent his way.

A man on a wooden chair in the main hall hummed in interest and the news his men have received. He clicked his fingers with a sickening grin. Just as he did so a guy wrapped in chains were thrown into the room. His eyes were as red as blood, burning with rage and the thirst for revenge.

His raven hair was in low ponytail, which had red fading from the bottom. The man laughed at his state and began,
" Bring me Y/n, the earth spirit, and I'll grant you your freedom, Blaze,"

The chained guy, who was the exact same age as Y/n, looked up with a raised eyebrow,
" Why would I help you obtain another element? You already have me, isn't that good enough?"

The man arose from his chair and knelt down to his height,
" You said that you wanted freedom and a life, right? I'll let you marry her since she is my daughter, along with your freedom. Having a wife is winning the game of life, isn't it not?"

Blaze scoffed, rolling his eyes,
" You just want powerful grand children to manipulate and control,"

The man just laughed in response, not bothered by him speaking the truth,
" You're right, but we both get what we want in the end, don't we?"

Blaze hesitated before letting out a heavy sigh,
" Fine. I accept your mission,"
