There was music playing in the background, the lights dimmed slightly. Dallas relaxes on his couch, his bong sitting on the coffee table in front of him. He closed his eyes, the day had been annoying, it was just him and River today for a mission since Cash took Nix to the beach yesterday morning. He doesn't like to do missions with River, she makes it difficult, a challenge every single time, and it gets tiring. It's easier with Cash because he wants to get it done so he can leave. Dallas would rather do solo missions without River since she can be a bit much and the only person that can handle her is Cash.

Dallas sighed, he just wanted to smoke and relax for the rest of the day, he doesn't have a match in the underground till next week and his mission doesn't start in two days, so he finally has time to relax and have some me time.

Dallas's phone dinged, he grabbed it and opened his eyes staring at a message he received from Nix, he clicked on it seeing it was a picture of the ocean from a pretty view. Dallas forgot he told Nix how much he loved the ocean, but he hadn't gone to a beach in a while. He texted back with a cool and a thumbs up.

He notices bubbles popping up quickly, so he waits for the reply. Usually, Dallas doesn't make friends, River just attached herself to him after their first mission, she was fine, she was likable and Cash was just always there, they always went on missions, and they trusted each other. He doesn't know if he would call him and Cash friends. Myah showed up, and they just built a connection quickly. He liked Myah, she was cute, fun, and great company.

Nix though, they immediately clicked and became friends, it was weird, Dallas never knew Cash would have such a likable and amazing soulmate even if he's too stupid to realize that yet.

Nix: "Don't watch that new anime without me prick."

Dallas chuckles, he honestly forgot they made a plan to watch this new anime that was an adaptation of a manga they both enjoy.

Dallas: "Don't worry, I'm waiting for you."

Nix: "😊"

Dallas smiles softly, he leans his back against the couch and starts to think, what if his soulmate ends up being a guy? He's not into men, he doesn't find other men attractive... Well, no, he has to admit, he found Nix cute in a weird way. He can't explain it. He doesn't believe he's attractive to Nix, but he is cute for a guy.

Honestly, Dallas hoped his soulmate was like Nix if they were a guy. Someone with the same interests someone who's understanding and very entertaining. As long as they had a likable personality, it shouldn't be hard to fall in love with them despite their gender.

He shouldn't be thinking too deeply about his soulmate right now, he hasn't met them yet so why think about all the possibilities, it could either cause him to be scared to meet his soulmate or make him grow impatient with waiting to meet.

He looked down to see no replies from Nix, so he was about to lay his phone down again but got another dinged he looked down at the message and frowned. It was Sebastian, fuck he knew Sebastian is going to want him to come over to the club. Dallas clicked on the message.

Sebastian: "Need you for a match."

Dallas: "I have one next week."

Dallas frowns, he doesn't feel like fighting tonight, he is tired and honestly rather sleep than punch some dumbass in the face. But hey extra money.
