Cash groans when he hears a knock at the door, he opens his eyes staring up at the ceiling of the living room of his old apartment. He glances at the door, not wanting to answer it. He grabbed his phone and looked at the time. It reads 2:17 am. He notices two missed calls from Lydia and a few messages. He groans to himself, knowing exactly who's knocking right now. He sets his phone down and stands from his couch, he opens the front door and sees Lydia, her shoulder-length pink hair tied in a high ponytail, her blue eyes bright as usual. She had on a white tank top and yoga pants; she looked sexy as usual, but Cash was exhausted. "It's late."
"You never answered my texts or calls," Lydia says as she steps inside.
"I was asleep." Cash says closing his door.
"Since when do you sleep?" She asked as she sat down on the couch.
"It's been a long day." Cash says sitting beside Lydia, he yawns tiredly.
"Did you sleep with someone else?" She asked while crossing her arms.
"What?" Cash asked staring at Lydia with an arched brow. "No?"
"You never sleep unless we fuck, what? Has your day been that bad? I haven't seen you in a week." Lydia says with a cute little pout.
Cash rolled his eyes. "I'm able to sleep without fucking you, Lyn."
"Why haven't you called me?" Lydia asked, she pouts further. "You always call."
"Don't be clingy." Cash says with a sigh. "I haven't been in the mood to fuck."
"Since when?" Lydia asked.
"I had back-to-back missions with Dallas and some side shit for Clyde, I've been training for upcoming fights." Cash says staring at the pouting girl.
"That's it?" Lydia asked as she climbed onto Cash's lap.
Cash stared at the girl. He never minds the random touches and affections she gives him, as long as she doesn't act like they're more than just casual hookups. "Yeah... Well." He looks to the side. "I met my soulmate a few days ago."
Cash hasn't heard from Nix since the night they met, he feels weird about texting a stranger and asks how they're doing. Cash isn't going to lie he's been feeling restless lately, he's been feeling a bit down as well. He knows it has to have something to do with the effects of not being around your soulmate. He wonders how Nix is feeling. If he's feeling the same way or not.
Lydia's eyes widen, as she stares down at Cash. "You...your soulmate?"
"Yeah." Cash sighs.
Lydia leans down to kiss his neck. "Are you... Going to try with her?" Lydia, her hands moving up and down his chest.
Cash sighs, he looks up at the ceiling, letting Lydia do her thing. "No, you know how I feel about the soulmate thing."
Lydia giggled slightly, she nibbled on his neck, while her hands were moving to his crotch. "How did she feel about it?" Lydia asked looking up at Cash as she rubbed his crotch. "I don't have to feel bad about pleasing you better than your soulmate, do I?" She teases.
Cash let out a soft gasp at her hand, feeling himself twitch slightly, but he wasn't hard yet. "He." Cash says. "He took it fine; he doesn't want a soulmate either."
Lydia lifted her head, and she laughed. "A he? Oh goodie, I don't have to make anyone feel jealous."
"Jealous? Why would you make anyone jealous?" Cash asked, his hand going straight to her fake chest, groping her.
"Because you're not going to dump me for someone else, no one knows you or can please you the way I can." She grins.
Cash raises a brow, Lydia does know a lot about Cash, but only about the bad things he's done, she doesn't truly know him, and the only girl who knows him the most is River and well a name that shall not be name. "Dump? Don't we have to be together for me to dump you?"
