Cash groans as he opens his eyes, the sun shining through the balcony door, he throws his blanket over his head, shielding his eyes from the annoying ass light. He sighs. What time is it? Ugh did he oversleep again. Probably. Cash peeled the blanket from his face after a few minutes, letting his eyes adjust to the sun. He moved his hand across the left of the mattress looking for his phone, he grabbed it and looked at the time. "2 pm." He sighs and tosses his phone. "Still early." He says yawning loudly. He sits up, he glances at the empty side of the uncomfortable pull-out mattress. Did Nix have work today? Wasn't he off? Ah, wait he's out shopping with the girls and Dallas.
He stood up from the mattress and headed down the hall. After using the bathroom, he was now in the shower, washing his hair when he heard a knock at his door. "The fuck?" He asked himself. "Was someone coming over?" Cash asked, Nix and Julia have a key, so it's not them, River would be banging on the door like a cop to be a bitch.
Cash sighs and turns the shower off, he grabs a towel and wraps it around his waist. He walks into the living room, not caring about his wet hair dripping onto the floor, he opens the door. Seeing Lydia standing there.
She smirks. "Isn't this just a treat." She teases as she walks past him. "Want me to help you finish your shower?"
"What are you doing here?" Cash asked while closing his door.
Lydia pouts. "Do I really need a reason?" She asked, crossing her arms. "You haven't called me over in weeks."
"I've been busy." Cash says walking down the hall to grab some clothes.
"With Julia?" Lydia asked with a glare.
Cash sighs. "No, I haven't been with Julia in weeks."
"I heard she moved in with you," Lydia says. "Why?"
"She had nowhere to go." Cash says walking out of his room with jeans on.
"Since when did you care about people?" Lydia asked, glaring at him.
"Nix would punch me in the dick if I kick her out." Cash says walking towards the refrigerator.
"Who the fuck is Nix?" Lydia asked.
"My soulmate."
"The guy?" Lydia asked. "He made you take her in?"
"He didn't make me." Cash sighs. "Look, I don't care about what weird jealousy you have towards Julia. She needed a place to stay."
Lydia rolled her eyes. "I don't want her here."
"That's too bad." Cash says, folding the mattress and folding it back into the couch.
Lydia huffs. She looks around his apartment. "Did she clean your apartment?"
"No." Cash says grabbing his pack of cigarettes and walking outside on the balcony.
"Since when do you smoke outside?" Lydia asked, following him.
"Nix doesn't like me smoking inside." He answered, lighting a cigarette.
Lydia laughed. "Nix huh? Nix told you to stop smoking inside? He cleaned your apartment, didn't he? You have a lot of new shit in here too, was that him? He's changing a lot around here."
"I guess." Cash says.
"... You're not into men," Lydia says.
"Yeah." Cash says puffing out smoke.
Lydia glared. "Why is he allowed to change everything around you?"
"What?"
"I've been trying to get you to clean your apartment for years... I've been trying to buy shit for your apartment. I've been trying to get you to stop smoking for years! But some random ass guy comes in and now you listen to whatever the fuck he says?" Lydia says raising her voice a bit.
