Dallas leans back into his couch, his eyes couldn't really focus on the anime playing on the TV, he felt so distracted lately, he couldn't focus on a damn thing, he couldn't sleep, and he felt like he hasn't slept in days, he hasn't eaten much lately, he hasn't been hungry. He felt depressed... He feels different, it's a weird feeling. He doesn't like it. "You good?" Nix asked, Dallas invited Nix over so they could watch things together, the 8 months Dallas knew Nix, they clicked so easily, and they connected on things faster than he usually does with people. Nix is basically his best friend right now.

"Yeah, I'm fine... Just tired." Dallas answered.

"Haven't been sleeping?" Nix asked as he glanced at his friend.

Dallas shakes his head. Wait, this is probably a good chance to ask Nix questions. "Hey... So, before you and Cash became glue to each other's hip... How did you feel about not being around him?"

Nix pauses the anime for a moment. "When we first met? Hmmm." Nix starts to think, trying to remember. "I felt sick kind of. I couldn't really focus on things, and I kept making mistakes at work, I couldn't eat, and I couldn't sleep."

"Fuck." Dallas sighs. "You felt better whenever you were with him?"

"Yeah, like all of my issues I had disappeared," Nix said. "Are you having those issues right now?"

Dallas nods. "Yeah."

"Why didn't you invite Caleb instead of me?" Nix asked.

"I don't like him," Dallas said.

Nix chuckles. "That suck, but you guys are going to have to get over that."

Dallas sighs. "Yeah, but I don't want to now."

"Do you rather go with more days with no sleep?" Nix sighs. "Listen, I get it, you don't like the guy..." Nix looks at Dallas. "I know you wanted to be with someone else... But you shouldn't punish yourself, you two need to get along and be able to be in the same room together."

"I know," Dallas says. "I... I don't know how to talk to him... Every word he says pisses me off."

"Ignore it?" Nix said. "Just ignore it. He knows how to get under your skin, he likes your reactions. Don't give it to him."

Dallas rubbed his face, he glanced at Nix. "I'll try."

"Invite him over," Nix said turning back to the TV.

"I'm hanging with you," Dallas said. "He'll just ruin it."

"I don't mind, just invite him, you look awful," Nix said.

Dallas rolled his eyes. "He'll ruin my day."

"You should have him stay the night, you'll be able to sleep," Nix said. "I had to stay the night with Cash, a week after we met... I was restless."

Dallas frowns. "I don't understand how you handle Cash."

"He's not that bad," Nix said with a shrug.

"Not to you," Dallas says glancing at Nix. "Especially now, he's been glued to you since you got stabbed."

Nix chuckles. "Uh yeah, he has, hasn't he?"

Dallas snorts. "Yeah, never seen the guy so... Affectionate before."

Nix chuckled softly; he had a cute little smile on his face. "Yeah, I guess he is a bit different now? But that's what happens. If someone like Cash can change and calm down after meeting his soulmate. It'll be easy for you and Caleb. Trust me, your two relationships will change."

Dallas looks at the TV. "Caleb and I... There's no chance we'll be as close as you and Cash."

"You never know... Trust me, Cash didn't think this would work out because he wasn't into dudes... But it changed when we had our first kiss." Nix said. "It sparks that desire."
