"Holy...it looks so good." Rosé grinned as she sat on Jennie's new bed.
Jennie, on the other hand, was standing in front of her full length mirror making sure the uniform genuinely did look alright on her.
Rosé wasn't wrong, it truly was different from other private school uniforms, meaning it actually didn't suck.
And also meaning they had somehow managed to forgo the entire medieval dress code norms as well.
It was a mid thigh length skirt with a choice of black shoes. Jennie, being herself, opted for heeled Mary Janes.
Apart from that, a plain white shirt tucked into the skirt with a dark and light blue striped tie, finished off with a cropped blazer for the girls. The school logo was patched onto the upper right area of the blazer.
"They really have no...rules?" Jennie asked skeptically, fixing her hair.
"Yeah, you can accessorise however as long as it doesn't interfere with the uniform's integrity...whatever that means. And we're allowed to remove the blazer after breakfast, but most of us just keep it on." Rosé explained as she finally stood up and enveloped Jennie in a back hug.
"I'm so excited that you're back. I'll be able to see you everyday, and we'll finally go to school together." Rosé said squeezing the latter.
"Me too. I just hope everything goes well at the new company. I'm glad we're together in that too." Jennie replied, patting the other girls arm in a comforting manner as she saw her smiling in the mirror.
"Girls! It's time to go!" Rosé's mom could be heard calling for them downstairs as the two let out a sigh at the same time, then later chuckling at their shared hatred of school.
"Moms leaving again tomorrow morning, so she's extra particular on us being punctual today." Rosé told the girl as Jennie nodded, slinging on the gold chain of her black Chanel backpack, while Rosé did the same with her YSL one.
Rosé, or Roseanne, and her step-brother basically lived alone in their large Hampton's mansion. Well, now with the addition of Jennie, it was the three of them. And the staff, of course.
Their parents all worked in different parts of the world and constantly moved. Since none of them were particularly keen on the idea of boarding school, Rosé's parents had first bought a mansion for her, where her step-brother joined after their parents marriage.
Jennie initially stayed in boarding school in Paris before returning to New York. Her father and Rosé's parents had come to an agreement to let her stay in the Park-Kim mansion as the girls were already close, and it was a better idea than her living alone in a house all too herself.
And so, with that, the two were reunited and were both figuratively, and literally, closer than ever.
"Hurry up now!" Mrs.Park's voice echoed upstairs as both the girls only smiled and dashed out.
