The ballet studio was filled with the soft patter of feet and the occasional rustle of fabric as Jennie and Rosé practiced their ballet duet, a dramatic piece that vividly illustrated the clash and eventual unexpected blend of heaven and hell.
The choreography was intricate, designed to convey a powerful narrative through movement, where Rosé embodied the ethereal grace of heaven, and Jennie, the fiery intensity of hell.
Their performance was a captivating dance of contrasts, with Rosé's movements light and flowing, her leaps and spins as if buoyed by the air itself, while Jennie were sharp and commanding, grounded yet explosive, mirroring the unpredictable nature of flames.
Breathless and glistening with sweat, they held their pose a beat longer in the silence that followed the final note, before finally breaking apart and relaxing.
"That was good," Jennie said, wiping sweat from her brow with the back of her hand.
"Yeah, it was," Rosé agreed, but her tone was distant, eyes not quite meeting Jennie's.

"Of course, what's up?" Jennie turned to her, bringing her own water bottle down after a sip, noticed the seriousness in her friend's eyes.
"It's just...I feel like things have changed between us. Ever since...you've come back. You've been very busy, I get that. But we've stopped talking." Rosé said, finally looking at Jennie. "I feel like I'm losing my best friend."
"Rosé, I'm so sorry you feel that way. I didn't realise." Jennie's heart sank.
"It's not just that," Rosé continued, her voice growing firmer. "I see how you and Taehyung are together. It's different, Jennie. And I know he's my stepbrother, but you're my best friend. I need to know what's going on."
"Things are...different, I won't lie. But we're not dating, Rosé. It's just this weird dynamic we've fallen into. I don't know what it is, exactly." Jennie sighed, searching for the right words.
"I just don't want to lose you, Jennie. You're more important to me than any boy, even if he is family." Rosé nodded slowly, her expression softening.
