Last night was the first night in five years I've been able to sleep peacefully. I'm not sure I dreamed at all last night. I genuinely feel rested. My body doesn't ache and my eyes aren't heavy. The only problem now is that I didn't wake up to a gorgeous face in my bed. Instead I woke up to her laughter and two other voices in the kitchen. Only a handful of women could be here laughing it up with her so I knew it was nothing to worry about. Vito left his spot and was probably there with them.

I stretched and went to the bathroom to freshen myself up so I'd at least have decent breath before I went to see who was here.

"Goodmorning sleeping beauty" My Love greeted me, making her sister and best friend giggle before also greeting me. I walked into the kitchen and wrapped my arm around her waist, placing a kiss on her lips.

"Goodmorning Amore Mio, Goodmorning girls"

"You look good, you must've gotten plenty of sleep last night ?" Dej smiled proudly.

"I did, I feel good" I smiled at the beautiful woman next to me. She blushed and crossed her arms over her chest. She's why I got so much sleep and doesn't even know it. My body and soul rests when it knows that she's safe and she's at her safest when she's in my arms. I'm at ease with her and it's the best feeling ever.

"This feels like deja vu. I remember one time before Mani left when she made you breakfast because you were sleeping extra long and we were on the phone with her. You rose finally and came in sounding like a grown ass man except this time you actually are a grown ass man"

We all recalled that day and laughed at it. "What can I say ? Your sister knows how to put a guy to sleep, hm ?"

"I know" She bit her lip.

"Ok let's calm down it's like 10 AM. Too early for this conversation" Ess held her hands up to stop us from going any further.

"I'm sure if I called Kaid that story would sound familiar" Mani mumbled, looking off to the side.

"That was petty" Ess shot at her.

"Alright, alright. Are you girls hungry ?"

"Oh yes I hear you're a cook now and I've gotten good reviews so impress me white boy" Dej waved her hand at me in a 'shoo' motion.

"You're gonna ask me for food and insult me at the same time ?"

"Don't you just love me ?" She smiled.

"Sure Dej" I shook my head. My attention turned back to my girl who was laughing at us."Go relax, I'll handle this"

"Are you sure ?"

"Of course. Unless you wanna stand over there and be my motivation" I slid my hand under her shirt to grab a hold of her barely covered ass.

"I think I'll go"

"Good choice and put some pants on" I kissed her head once more and tapped her hips before she walked over to sit with the girls. I sure hope the guys don't come over. The last thing I want is any of them catching her dressed like that especially Dunner.
