Is it weird to watch her sleep ? Because I spent an hour doing so. She loves her sleep and I just love seeing her at peace. Even more when she's wearing my shirt with nothing under. Her black satin bonnet needed to be fixed because this specific one didn't have the band around it. It's loose which makes it easier for it to come off. She doesn't have much here and that bonnet is her older one. I kept it clean and had it put away for her.

I was in and out of sleep again but after about 6 I just stayed awake. I just can't risk letting my terrors get the best of me while she's around. I'm exhausted but if staying up keeps this from getting to her then I don't care. I made sure she stayed asleep and then started my morning. I went to the gym and while I was out I went by both Dunner and her parents place. I wanted to get some clothes of her own, I'm sure she's going to get out of the house today, I heard she's going for an interview tomorrow with some vet office and then she's coming here to her parent's place tonight for a gathering for her return.

I helped out with as much as they'd let me but because I'm a rockstar they're all 'you're too busy to help'. They've been so welcoming to Corey and I even with her being gone so me stopping by raised no flags at all. I'm here every other day helping Steve or picking up Keison or bringing cleaning supplies to Ms.E. I pick out flowers for her and my mother every month and deliver them personally but Christ, women love their cleaning supplies more than their husbands. Especially when they have husbands and sons who don't wash their own clothes and accumulate more dirt than a soccer field.

It's crazy but to an extent I feel like the least I can do is get her something she likes. I have the money anyway and besides, she gave me my Love, that I'm forever thankful for.

"Oh hey Jake" Ess opened the door, letting me in and giving me a hug.

"Jake, what's up brotha ?" Kei came in with his game controller in his hand.

"What's up man ? You're home today ?"

"Yeah, the girlfriend is over..you know how that goes. She's sleeping right now though"

"And I assume Mani's doing the same ?" Ess asks, rolling Mani's suitcase over.

"Of course she is" I chuckled. "You know she loves her sleep"

"Are you coming back with her later ?"

"If I don't find a way to piss her off by then"

"I'm sure you'll make it. Oh and thanks for the shoes by the way, she took me on a shopping spree with your card the other day"

"Yeah I'm still calculating all that"

"Sorry. You pissed her off and I couldn't stop touching stuff"

"It's no worries Ess, you're all good. Thanks for this" I lift the suitcase from the floor and check my watch for the time. "I'd better go before she wakes up hangry"

"See you later Jake" She called out, holding the door for me to go out of.

"Alright guys" I waved back and got in my truck.

It's only 9AM and my girl has never been much of a morning person but I have to keep her productive. I stopped to pick up some papers from the shop and headed straight back home. Once I got back inside I heard low music coming from upstairs. I sat everything down and walked upstairs, following the music up to my room. I walked into my bathroom and saw her laying in a tub of bubbles. Her small braids hung outside the tub and swept the floor barely because of the high ponytail she put it in.
