Steve, Kian and about three other huge ass men were walking towards us. For just a second I felt relief until I hear Kian say "Mani...step away from him and don't turn your back on him for even a second"

Heath just stood there looking like a statue except he wasn't looking at me anymore but at Kian. Kian's face stoned as well but instead of the blank expression that Heath had, Kian was very pissed. I didn't doubt him for that exact reason and ran straight to Steve.

"Are you okay ? Are you hurt ?"

"I'm fine"

"God, I'm so glad you're okay" He pulled me in and kissed my head.

"Why wouldn't I- Kian no ! Please !"

Steve covered my eyes but he couldn't blind me from the sound of Kian beating Heath. It made me sick to hear it. Blood gurgling from his mouth and bones cracking. I've seen Jake's rage and it's terrifying to say the least but Kian had a rage unlike Jake's. The only thing good thing is that he has better control.

"Corey, you get her to your mother and don't let her leave until I get there do you understand me ? Make sure she's safe" Kian spoke directly to Corey with his hand on his shoulder.

"I know, I will"

"Yo Jake ? You talk to Mani yet ?" Danny barged inside my room through the door connecting it to his with his phone in hand.

"I can't tell who wants to see me naked more you or Dunner"

"Not a chance JV you're not really my type"

"Because I'm white ?"

"Fifth plead"

"Asshole. Not yet. She told me she was gonna ditch the cowboy and call me when she gets home"

"Cowboy ?" He wondered.

"I'm confused too. Why ?"

"Dej is on the phone and she wants to know if you talked to Mani"

"No I'm waiting for her to leave"

"That's the thing" Dej's panicking echoed from the speaker. "She told me she was leaving out twenty minutes ago and she hasn't updated me since. She didn't answer three calls and her phone is still there. Jake please tell me you've talked to her"

The air in my lungs disappeared when she said she couldn't get in contact with her. I called Mani just to see with my own eyes. The phone rang. Then it rang again. And again and again and again until the voicemail played.
