Soojin rubbed Soyeon's back with a chuckle, warning her to slow down before she chokes on her food. She had made her best friend a big meal for a celebration.
"You're doing good," Soojin murmured, placing a loving kiss on the top of her head.
Soyeon looked up at her and raised an eyebrow.
Soojin smiled. "You've been taking your meds for a month now! I'm so proud of you."
Soyeon winced, as if she hated being reminded of it. Soojin noticed and took a step back. Does she not want a celebration for this?
"Thanks, unnie," Soyeon murmured, cracking a small smile. But inside, she was panicking. Trying really, really hard to make sure her friend didn't notice how her breathing became faster at the mere mention of the medicine.

He flipped through a few pages of a folder. "It says here she's diagnosed wi—"
Yuqi quickly jabbed the doctor softly in the stomach. What? It's not like she hurt him. She wasn't able to think of anything else that would have stopped him from saying that word that Soyeon doesn't want to hear. She gave him a look before watching carefully as he cleared his throat and turned to Yuqi.
"You can wait here, ma'am. We're going to take her to room 204 to see if that glass will come out of her arm."
Yuqi's eyebrows furrowed. "Can I come with her?"
The doctor bowed his head gently. "Sorry, but no."
Yuqi quietly huffed in frustration, stepping close to him. "Can you please.. can you take care of her well? She's.."
"I've dealt with people like this before," The doctor smiled at her, signaling that he understood. No, he didn't.
"No, I'm not talking about her illness." She sighed quietly, taking a glance at Soyeon who was admiring the hospital's colorful flooring. "I love her so much, please, please don't hurt her."
(a few hours ago)
Soyeon opened her eyes, not sure if she was even alive. Her ears were ringing and smoke was coming up from inside the car. Her windshield was shattered, pieces stuck into her body.
What happened? What happened? What happened?!
Everything hurt. A gruesome headache pounded in her ears, and her side was getting crushed by the car door. The car is flipped over? She looks up and discovers that the car was turned on its side. Around her, through the broken windshield, she could see more smoke and some fire.
"Are you okay?!" Someone yelled, standing right outside the car.
"S-Soojin?" Soyeon whined, hoping that it was who she thought it was.
"We're going to get you out of here, hang on!!"
The voice wasn't her friend's, which made Soyeon want to curl up in a small ball and never wake up again. She shut her eyes when the car started to shake, someone trying to pull the driver's side door off so that she could escape.
Blood dripped down her arm from her wound, giving her at least a small grain of comfort.

Minnie reached her hands under Miyeon's shirt with a smirk. The girl who was holding on to her let out a muffled groan, her head pressed into Minnie's neck. Yuqi, please forgive me for having sex in your bedroom. The younger ran her fingers along Miyeon's soft stomach before moving her hands up toward Miyeon's breasts, pushing her against the wall.
"Just touch me already," Miyeon whined, cheeks red from the drink she had and because of Minnie's teasing.
Minnie raised a brow. "Where?"
Miyeon frowned. "You know whe—"
One of Minnie's hands swiftly reached under Miyeon's bra, squeezing her already hard nipple while effectively cutting the older girl off. In her pocket, Minnie's phone buzzed. She ignored it, slipping her hand out from under Miyeon's shirt to lift it over her head. She tried not to stare, but, Miyeon's so beautiful.
Miyeon smiled shyly. "Yah, quit looking at me like that."
"Like what?" Minnie asked, holding back a laugh.
"Like you want to eat me or something."
"I do want to eat you," Minnie says, a mischievous smirk growing on her lips. She reaches behind Miyeon to unclasp her bra, but her phone buzzes in her pocket again. Miyeon reaches into her pocket for Minnie's phone and the Thai cannot believe how much she blushes when Miyeon's hand barely brushes against her thigh in the process.
"Oh, it's an unknown number," she says, looking up at Minnie.
"Answer it— wait, is it a video call?!"
Miyeon had already answered and she murmured, "No, thankfully."
Minnie spoke into the phone that Miyeon had put on speaker and was now holding up in between them. "Who is this?"
"Yuqi."
Minnie breathed a small breath of relief. "Hey, Woogs, what's up? I'm busy right now."
"Dude, can I borrow some money?"
Minnie sighed in annoyance. Who does she think is, interrupting my first time with Miyeon to ask this ridiculous question?? "Sure, how much?" She kept her voice level, knowing that Miyeon doesn't like to see her upset.
Wait. This is unusual. She's has never asked me for money even though she's broke as fuck. There must be something wrong. She took the phone from Miyeon's hands gently and turned off the speaker once she heard Yuqi's struggled breathing on the other line. "Where are you?"
"A-at the hospital."
"Who's hurt?"
Minnie's face twisted into an expression of concern when she pressed her phone to her ear and was able to hear Yuqi crying. She took a step away from Miyeon, turning around so that her back faced the older.
"S-So.. Soyeon.." Yuqi took in a shuddering breath in the other line, her voice shaking. "The.. I'm... I can't afford it," Yuqi cried, knowing that her friend wouldn't judge her for anything.
Miyeon put a hand on Minnie's shoulder. "What's going on?" She whispered.
Minnie closed her eyes for a moment, listening to Yuqi's quiet whimpers and the sound of Miyeon slowly rubbing her shoulder. She pursed her lips. "I'm coming." She hung up, putting her phone back in her pocket and turning around to apologize to Miyeon. "I'm sorry, I have to go somewhere."
"At two in the morning?" Miyeon's eyebrows scrunched in confusion. "Let me come with you."
Minnie clenched her teeth. She's had a crush on Miyeon for months now, and she finally got the chance to hook up with her. But I've been friends with Yuqi for years, I have to help her. "No, you can't come with me. I'll call you later." Minnie turned to grab her coat from off of Yuqi's bed, and began to walk out of the room.
Miyeon took Minnie's hand in hers and held it, tugging her softly. Minnie, despite in a rush to get to the hospital, turned back around. Miyeon's eyes shimmered with uncertainty before she spoke. "I've got some too."
"Some.. what?" Minnie whispered.
"Money," Miyeon says, "I have a lot to spare actually. You know I still live with my parents? I can give you guys a lot if you need it."
"Miyeon you don't have to—"
"Yes, I do. There's nothing more serious right now than your friend who's important enough to you that you'd willingly give up your chance to get laid for them. I'm coming with you."
Minnie bit the inside of her cheek, letting a small smile cross her lips. "Put a shirt on first."
