minho sat at their 'hangout spot,' engrossed in the book he had borrowed from jisung, allowing the soft, cool breeze of the gloomy afternoon to rustle through his hair. with no class to attend at the moment, he decided to text felix earlier, asking for permission to use their 'hangout spot' to pass the time. as soon as he received felix's approval, he made his way to the spot.

the rustling of leaves from the tree above, accompanied by distant voices of other students, served as minho's background music as he let his fingers dance across the crisp pages of the book. he allowed his eyes to get lost in every passage, his mind fully engaged in processing the words.

when minho had started the book earlier, he never would have imagined that he would actually come to enjoy the story. it was as if an invisible force within the book had pulled him in, immersing his mind in the experience as if he were the very character within the pages.

while flipping through a page in the book, a piece of paper suddenly fell out, almost being whisked away by a strong gust of wind. fortunately, minho managed to catch it in the nick of time.

he studied the paper in his hand. it was folded in half, so he opened it, hoping it might contain a clue about his roommate. as he unfolded it, he was greeted by black ink in the form of words.

"lyrics...?" he mused, noticing how certain words were repeated, much like a chorus.

no, it was indeed a chorus.

he then raised his eyes to the top of the paper, where the words 'hellevator by: 3racha' were neatly written.

"3racha? i remember hyunjin mentioning them," he mumbled, setting the book aside and continuing to read the words on the paper.

as he perused the lyrics, minho suddenly had a realization, "it's based on the book..." he thought out loud. his mind filled with thoughts like:

"did jisung write this?"

"he's so talented... and handsome."

"definitely my type."

minho quickly shook his head to clear those distracting thoughts. in addition to this, he noticed something else, "it's not the complete lyrics, almost like a draft," he mumbled, observing the incomplete lyrics that seemed more like a work in progress for a song.

minho was so engrossed in analyzing the paper in his hand that he remained oblivious to the approaching figure behind him.

"hyung!" a voice exclaimed, already beside minho and peering at the paper in his hand.

minho flinched at the voice, his head turning swiftly to look at the person. "hyunjin?" he asked with furrowed brows.

"what's that?" hyunjin ignored minho's confusion and pointed at the paper in his hand with a subtle gesture of his lips.

in response, minho immediately grabbed the book and slid the paper in between its pages. for some reason, he felt that was the best course of action.

"nothing, just a note from my class," he replied, shrugging nonchalantly.

hyunjin seemed to accept minho's answer as he nodded, saying, "felix told me you were here, and since i don't have any classes at this hour, he suggested i accompany you." he spoke with a smile that made him resemble a dumpling.

minho nodded, making room for hyunjin. "the others are coming over in a few, except for felix, who has a class. the good news is, you'll finally get to meet chan and changbin, our hyungs!" hyunjin added, his excitement evident as he squealed and waved his arms around like a fangirl.

minho then chuckled, returning the book to his bag as hyunjin delved into a conversation about the cost of art supplies, and minho had no choice but to listen.
