it was the following morning, a saturday, and the day's ambiance was much better than the previous one. the weather wasn't too sunny, which could immediately drain one's energy when stepping outside, nor was it overly cloudy, suggesting an impending downpour. instead, it was a comfortably cloudy day that brought forth a refreshing cool breeze.
minho had just woken up and headed straight to the kitchen, his stomach rumbling as he realized he had forgotten to have dinner the previous night. he made his way to the cupboards in search of something to eat, but when he opened the cabinet door, his heart sank.
there was no more food.
he facepalmed, only now realizing that he had forgotten to buy groceries. "real smart, minho. now you're going to starve to death," he grumbled to himself.
just then, jisung, dressed in his usual formal attire, entered the kitchen, looking at minho with a sly smirk. "no food?" he asked, already aware of the answer.
"yeah, i'm going to starve," minho playfully growled, emphasizing his dire need for food.
"you could order?" jisung suggested, as if it were the most logical solution at the moment.
"oh. i didn't think about that," minho responded, skipping his way to the living room and plopping down on the couch with a bounce as he grabbed his phone to order food delivery.
jisung followed behind him, observing how minho seemed stuck on deciding what to order.
minho then raised his head to look at the younger, asking, "what do you want? i'll order."
however, jisung shook his head in response. "i already ate before you woke up," he said, sitting beside minho and turning on the tv.
"are you sure?" minho asked, not wanting jisung to go hungry while he enjoyed some delicious delivered food.
"mhm, i'm also on a diet, so i try to avoid eating too much," jisung replied, absentmindedly navigating through the channels.
"okay then," minho responded, attempting to make up his mind about what food to order.

while minho waited for his food to be delivered, he gathered his art materials and began sketching random things that came to mind. this unexpected display of artistic talent caught jisung's attention, and he couldn't help but be surprised that minho had this creative side.
"you never told me you're artistically inclined," jisung remarked, observing how minho's fingers delicately gripped the pencil and moved with a motion as serene as the waves of a calm sea.
minho, still focused on his sketchbook, replied, "i actually just learned how to draw properly in college, since we had to draw organs in our classes a lot. then, before i knew it, i was able to sketch anything realistically, even humans."
jisung hummed in response, watching in amazement as minho realistically sketched the mug resting on the coffee table. minho's attention to detail was superb, and the shading and texture in his sketch were exceptional. jisung also noticed how minho seamlessly switched hands while sketching, 'he's ambidextrous,' he thought
"done!" minho exclaimed, raising his piece to admire it.
"you're fast," jisung commented, looking up in awe at minho's sketch.
minho shrugged modestly. "it's a simple sketch, and there aren't many details, so it was easy to do."
he handed jisung the sketchbook, as the younger wanted a closer look at the details. jisung's admiration for minho's artistic skill was evident.
