the rhythmic sounds of raindrops drumming against the window served as the background music in minho's room, adding to the comforting ambiance of the chilly space. outside, clouds were draped in a gradient of darkness, accompanied by strong gusts of wind that sent leaves spiraling and trees swaying in a synchronized dance.
jisung sat on minho's bed, observing the older choose clothes suitable for the weather, as his professor had not announced any cancellation of classes due to the inclement weather.
"baby, do you really need to go? it's pouring outside..." jisung trailed off, glancing at the window before returning his gaze to minho, who was pulling out an oversized hoodie and sweatpants from his closet.
"my professor didn't announce anything, so i have to. besides, we college students are apparently waterproof," minho responded, his voice tinged with sarcasm as he begrudgingly prepared to face the raging weather.
"what about you? do you have a class?" minho added, briefly shifting his attention to the person on his bed.
jisung shook his head. "no. but if i'm not here when you get back, that means i went to the library to study," he replied, and minho nodded in acknowledgment.
as minho began to strip out of his slept-in clothes, the realization that jisung was in the room hit him only when he felt eyes piercing his bare back.
"you're such a tease, baby. stripping in front of me like that," jisung remarked in a low voice, laced with a mocking undertone.
minho blushed profusely at jisung's comment, prompting him to quickly put on his clothes. all the while, he could feel jisung's eyes wandering over his body, causing his heart to race at the mere thought.
once minho finished changing, he turned toward jisung. the hoodie engulfed him, giving him sweater paws and making him appear tiny despite being taller than jisung. his hair, now neatly combed, showcased the delicate, slightly long strands of raven-colored locks.
a small smile graced jisung's lips at the sight of minho, his eyes transforming into hearts, mirroring the heart-shaped pattern his lips created whenever he smiled.
"come here, baby," he beckoned, patting his lap to signal minho to sit on it.
minho took small steps towards jisung, hands gripping the end of his hoodie, head slightly bowed in a hint of embarrassment showing that side to jisung.
climbing onto jisung's lap, minho faced the younger, his face and ears still burning crimson. jisung grabbed minho's chin, tilting the older's head to meet his gaze. the action was less gentle than usual, carrying a hint of possessiveness, but minho didn't seem to mind.
"you look so pretty, especially sitting on my lap, all shy," jisung remarked, prompting minho to purse his lips, feeling a tinge of embarrassment at the compliment.
suddenly, something struck minho as he sat on jisung's lap. he shifted his eyes down, landing on jisung's clothes that seemed unchanged.
"do you not change your clothes?" minho blurted out, causing jisung to retract his hands, his expression contorting into confusion at the abrupt topic change, minho inadvertently ruining the moment.
"i have many pairs of the same clothes because of my program. they want us to dress formally or elegantly," jisung responded, the sudden topic shift catching him off guard.
"how about you try wearing something else? you look like you're going to attend a funeral in that attire," minho remarked, stepping off jisung's lap and sizing him up, his face contorting in a mock expression of disgust.
jisung let out a low chuckle at minho's witty remark before his face softened again. "as long as you let me borrow your clothes," jisung replied with a grin.
