the next morning, the two roommates acted as if nothing had changed. minho had expected some awkwardness between him and jisung after the younger's confession, but the opposite happened.

jisung was talkative that morning. he greeted minho with a cheerful "good morning," complimented him on how cute he looked just waking up, and even told minho where to find him during lunch.

minho didn't mind it at all; he actually loved it. he cherished the way jisung's soft voice greeted him in the morning, paired with his ever-present smile that puffed up his cheeks. the compliments that rolled off jisung's tongue smoothly and the way he ruffled minho's hair when saying goodbye filled minho with warmth and delight.

these actions may have been small, but to minho, they stirred a whirlwind of emotions within him, like a bustling circus coming to life.

currently, minho was preparing a simple sandwich to take to school. jisung had left ahead of him, which made him a little sad, but there wasn't much he could do about it. so, in the kitchen, he spread peanut butter on his sandwich while the fresh emotions still tingled on his cheeks.

after finishing his sandwich, he grabbed another chocolate milk and stashed his lunch in his bag.

as minho waited for the time to pass, he flopped down on the couch with a big sigh. he pondered all the gestures jisung had made earlier, and this prompted him to lay on the couch, rolling around and kicking his feet in romantic excitement.

he eventually grabbed one of the pillows on the couch, placing it over his face and letting out muffled screams of excitement.

at this point, minho's whole face was red, especially his ears. now that he was aware of jisung's feelings towards him, it also made him contemplate his own feelings for jisung.

minho knew he liked jisung, but he wasn't sure to what extent his feelings for the younger went. jisung was undeniably attractive, and the way he carried himself made him seem like a hotshot executive at a prestigious company. not only that, but his voice was incredibly soothing, and the way he spoke made minho want to listen to him forever.

the only thing that worried him was how little he knew about jisung. he was aware that his roommate was a law student who enjoyed reading, but he didn't even know what year he was in, his age, or his birthday. minho wanted to ask him about it, but he couldn't seem to find the right moment, especially since jisung was frequently out of the dorm.

minho removed the pillow from his face, his hair slightly disheveled, and his face still flushed from his earlier excitement. he glanced at his wristwatch, then stood up, straightening his outfit for the day. with thoughts of his roommate lingering in his mind, he decided it was time to head to his first class.

------

minho's classes had just ended. his last session was a laboratory experiment, so he still had on his lab coat as he wandered through the halls. suddenly, an idea struck him, prompting him to head in the opposite direction from his intended path.

after a bit of walking, he finally arrived at a familiar classroom, hearing soft tunes emanating from within. this time, the door was completely shut, so minho lightly knocked, announcing, "jeongin, it's me, minho."

the strumming of a guitar came to a halt inside, followed by light footsteps, and the door swung open, revealing jeongin with a wide smile. "hyung!" the younger greeted.

driven by his impulsive thoughts, minho quickly ruffled jeongin's hair before stepping inside. the action caught jeongin off guard, but he didn't seem to mind.

jeongin followed minho inside, and both took seats across from each other. the younger watched as minho opened his bag, removing his lab coat and revealing the familiar chocolate milk and a plastic container filled with sandwiches.
