the amber rays of the sun filtered through the window, promising a warm day ahead. minho, freshly showered, stood before his closet pondering his attire for the day. after a brief moment of scanning through his wardrobe, he settled on something simple: a black shirt paired with comfortable pants, ideal for the rising temperature.
completing his attire, he gathered his belongings from the study table, stuffing them into his bag before leaving his room, his bag casually slung over one shoulder.
upon stepping out, he was met by jisung's presence. the younger sported his usual outfit, minus the blazer, his sleeves rolled up, revealing muscular and veined arms.
"good morning, pretty," jisung greeted, rising from the couch and drawing nearer to minho, leaning in to plant a soft peck on the older's lips.
"morning, sungie," minho replied, the affectionate nickname rolling off jisung's tongue eliciting a small smile from him.
"you're not having breakfast?" jisung asked, a hint of concern in his voice.
"nope, woke up late and i'm running short on time for breakfast. anyways, see you later, darling, i've got a class to attend," minho rambled, quickly slipping on his shoes while jisung watched, a soft chuckle escaping his lips. with his shoes finally on, he blew a playful kiss toward jisung before stepping out of the dorm.

minho briskly strode toward his first class of the day, physiology, the one he shared with felix. upon entering the classroom, he breathed a sigh of relief upon noticing the professor hadn't arrived yet.
chatter filled the room as minho settled into his usual seat. "felix isn't here yet..." he muttered, noticing the empty seat beside him.
as he sat down, voices behind him grew louder, catching his attention.
"personally, i believe ha joon's story. the same thing happened to me, damn it!" exclaimed a voice, tinged with frustration.
minho immediately recognized the voice and swiveled his seat toward the group. "what do you mean the same thing happened to you, mingi?" he asked.
"oh, hi lee! anyways, remember the story i shared in the group chat? about the ghost in the restroom? i feel like it's the same ghost ha joon encountered," mingi explained, eliciting a groan from the person beside him.
"mingi, i've told you, ha joon is lying. what you saw was probably just a hallucination. i mean, this is the first time i've heard about ghosts in clé hall or the gym. besides, why would the ghost suddenly start haunting people now?" wooyoung reasoned, with minho nodding in agreement.
"wooyoung, you don't understand! it's real, okay?! i felt its cold hand wrap around my neck!" mingi defended vehemently.
wooyoung rolled his eyes, while minho chuckled at their playful banter. "okay, fine. but do you have any idea why the ghost would choose now to show up?" wooyoung asked in an annoyed tone, crossing his arms and leaning back in his seat.
"i don't... but i think i have an idea who it might be," mingi said ominously, leaning closer to minho and wooyoung as if about to share a scary campfire story.
"who...?" minho asked, his interest piqued.
"mingi... you don't think..." wooyoung's voice trailed off, a hint of understanding dawning in his expression.
"bingo!" mingi exclaimed before turning to minho, gesturing for him to come closer. as minho leaned in, mingi whispered, "minho, you might not know this, but someone committed suicide last year... in haven hall."
minho's eyes widened in shock at the revelation. "really?" his voice carried an undertone of surprise.
mingi nodded vigorously while wooyoung's expression shifted to one of concern.
