third-year irregular student, lee minho, moves to a university in seoul because of his parents' work. now, he resides in a dorm with a calm and mysterious boy named han jisung as his roommate, who seems to be hiding a deep dark secret.
it was now evening, and jisung hadn't emerged from his room. minho had already knocked earlier, inviting him to dinner, but the younger had only replied with an, "i'm busy, maybe later." minho had decided not to disturb him further.
currently, minho sat alone at the dining table. he had prepared kimchi fried rice, ensuring there was enough for both of them, but it seemed that jisung had no intention of leaving his room anytime soon.
he let out a deep sigh, absentmindedly scooping up the ruby-colored rice that emitted a delicious aroma. the dorm was dimly lit, with only the kitchen's light and the soft moonlight seeping in from the window.
for some reason, minho couldn't shake the feeling that he had done something to upset jisung. he knew the younger was being dishonest and using his studies as an excuse, but he lacked evidence to confirm his suspicion.
minho decided to finish his meal, heading to the sink after he was done to wash the dishes. as he washed the dishes, his gaze wandered to the window in front of him, eventually fixing on the celestial lantern in the night sky, earth's natural satellite, the moon.
"full moon," he muttered, noting that the moon was a complete orb.
once he finished washing the dishes, he flicked his hands to rid them of water, turned off the light, and headed to his bedroom. however, before he swung open his door, he shot a glance at his roommate's door. he could hear quiet hums from jisung's room, which unconsciously brought a small smile to his lips.
"good night, ji," he said, opening his door and getting ready for bed.

the sun streaming in through the window stirred the figure comfortably nestled in bed. it bathed the room in a warm, amber and honey glow, prompting minho to squint his eyes, accompanied by a soft groan as he stretched his arms. he lingered in this cozy position for a few moments, gradually rousing from his slumber. after finally shaking off the last remnants of drowsiness, he got up and splashed his face with water to fully awaken.
upon leaving the bathroom, a series of notifications from his phone seized his attention. minho unlocked his device and opened the messaging app, finding messages from felix.
