(Okay, so next chapter, Avalon will meet the other rangers and Zordon and then chapter nine will have parts from the movie in it)

Kimberly looked over to see her best friend watched with rapt attention and a blush forming on her cheeks as green eyes looked all over Tommy.
"Hmm....someone is really smitten now, isn't she?" Kimberly teased Avalon who sputtered and walked over to the juice bar, ordering her regular strawberry-banana smoothie.
"Okay...and?" Avalon said as she sipped on the drink while Kimberly giggled.
"You wouldn't be the first girl to be like that...but I think, from what I can see, Tommy only has eyes for you and that's it. I think it started when you two did the Romeo and Juliet thing for your first project....you know....when you two decided to recite the play instead of just speaking about it." Avalon thought back to that day, her cheeks growing redder by the minute.
"Come on, let's go get ready for your date!" Kimberly gushed as she and Avalon left the Youth Center.
"Did you and Tommy...you know...ever date?" Avalon asked as they were heading back to her house.
"We tried...but we found out that we were more like siblings and friends than anything romantic." Kimberly explained.
Avalon had always thought she would always be married off to an ally family like the Weasleys or something...or she'd pull an Andromeda Black, run away and marry someone else that her family would not approve of. Avalon thought back what her and Tommy would do as a joint assignment and blushed. It was the balcony scene from Romeo and Juliet, considered one of the more romantic scenes in the story. She'd like to think that is when her crush on Tommy Oliver started, but it really started when they met if she was being truthful. There had never been anyone like him and to Avalon, Tommy Oliver reminded her of the Welsh green dragons she had always loved.
~~~~~~~~~~Flashback~~~~~~~~~~
"What should we do for the project? Take turns writing and speaking about the different views of Romeo and Juliet? Like you speak for the Montagues and I the Capulets?" Avalon asked Tommy as they poured over different book versions of Romeo and Juliet while sitting in the dining room of Avalon's aunt and uncle's house.
"I think others are already doing that. Why not do a scene from the book instead...I mean, the teacher did say that we could do that." Tommy suggested to Avalon who was pouring over one of the chapters and she raised her head, her green eyes looking rather curious and a bit shocked.
"That could...but what scene? There are so many we could do." Avalon groaned not seeing her godfather walk in with mirth in his eyes.
"How about what many consider to be the most romantic scene in the entire play....Act 2, Scene 2." Remus suggested and Avalon turned to the pages as Tommy looked over at the same time and both their eyebrows raised.
"The balcony scene." Both of them said at the same time while Remus Lupin nodded.
Avalon spared a glance to Tommy to find him already reading the scene out and she shrugged, going with the suggestion.
"I think the teacher will like that idea better than just doing a talking report on the play anyways." Avalon noted as she began to read over the scene, blush forming on her cheeks every time she glanced at Tommy from the corner of her eye.
